She is a nice woman BUT A HORRIBLE PROFESSOR. Her exams are not a good test of how well you know the material. They hardly cover what was taught, its almost like she gets them online randomly. And everything graded is done through blackboard- so she doesn't grade anything- doesn't do anything- doesn't teach anything.

I took her for hiking. At first, because I'm out of shape, I struggled a little with some of the hikes. She was very supportive though and kept pushing me to succeed. This class was an easy A, and it had many pluses. You get to go outside nearly every day, the tests were simple just do the study guides, and she's a wonderful person. Very fun class!

Mrs. Mar****was so sweet! I didn't have much of a hiking interest, but she made it a lot of fun! There are so many trails around USI that I didn't even know about. Make sure you do the study guide for the tests and show up everday. You'll get an A! :) Great teacher and great class!

I love Mrs. Marcum! She's a sweet person and very fun to talk with. Her class (I'm in hiking with her) is interesting, and she makes her test very fair as long as you study and do your part! Definately take her for hiking!

Patty is so great! The class is very easy. She hardly ever assigns homework, an occasional easy worksheet she sends out. Her tests are easy and she tells you in a weeks advance. Often she gives her students fridays off from her class. Very easy going and does her best to make things interesting and fun. Lots of bonus chances! Love her!!!
