Textbook is free online!!! Only two tests make up your entire grade with an optional final. Tests are open note. Really have to commit to learning since attendance is optional and there are no homework assignments. Hes nice and will help you during class though.

He lectures for the full class and doesn't let you leave early. There are 2 exams and a final. The final is optional if your grade is good. All exams are open book and open note. Buy the book you will need it.

You can get an "A" knowing half of the material required for the course, if you are happy with your midterm exam, you do not have to take the final or attend class

Guys, this guy is great. Two tests all semester. Open book open notes. Optional attendance. Cool guy. I got an A on my first test and if your happy with your first grade you dont have to take the second test. With no required attendance, I'm done with this class. This guy is the OG, trust me on this one.

Prof. is okay, his teaching can be confusing but it is easy to figure out after you look at the text book. Mid term is required, and a second test too, final is optional. The problems are exactly from what he goes thru in class literally you copy what you did in class so make sure to listen!

for stats you will not have an easier professor. just follow his examples from class/ or get notes from someone from class and you will do fine. Does not care about attendance. I went to class 4 times and received a B

He does not seem to enjoy teaching which is strange because he is a Professor! He will quickly glaze over a concept and expect the class to complete the problems on their own in class with minimal help. He does not write notes or examples on the board even if you ask him to. Very disappointed in this class and his laziness.

This guy is legit, as many have said, attendence isn't mandatory, two tests and a final, any generation book, open book + open notes. You need to pay attention or you will get lost. Buy yourself a ti 83 it will save your life. Show up and do all the problems in class, the problems on the exams are sometimes exactly from the text. So free answers.

Attendance isn't mandatory, two tests and a final, any generation book, open book & open notes. When he teaches it tends to be short and quick but you spend a lot of time doing problems in class; he goes around and helps you when you need it. You just have to show up and follow along and you should pass. He is a fun teacher and is a great guy.

Taking Swanson was the biggest mistake I made. His lectures are frustrating! He explains something for 1 minute and then expects you to do exercises from the book and instead of going over some problems and writing them on the board, he walks around. You have to sit in the front to hear him and keep asking him questions or you fail.

Just 2 tests, so if you fail the first one, you're screwed. Lectures are BORING! I wouldn't recommend it. Tests are open notes but REALLY HARD!

He's a great professor. There's two exams that are mandatory and the final is optional. There all open book. You'll have to write every single word he says because it'll be on the exam. Bright side there is no homework. Just come to class and pay attention take notes and easy a or b.

First day of class he says "There will be 2 tests, an optional final, both open note and open book. Immediately I liked this guy. Took Swanson for Stats I and loved it. You don't have to show up to class just have to do good on his 2 tests and you'll pass. Some of the problems you do in class are on the Exams AND you can use your book. Easy A.

Learning how to use equations on a graphing calculator will make the class and exams 10 times easier. Any problems he goes over in class or during review has a chance of being on the exam. There were 3 exams with the last one being optional. They are also open-notes and open-book but you definitely still have to study.

Not a good professor. He allows students to use their notes during the tests but they are no help. Your notes will only help you answer one or two questions because the tests are extremely difficult.
