Comment:

Sia is an interesting professor, this is why I cant rate him bad or the best. He challeges you to perform to you top and upmost standard. I felt as I was going to fail his but I think he recognizes hard work and commitment above test performance this is why he give so much extra credit. I appreciate his feedback and will recommend him to anyone.

DO NOT TAKE THIS COURSE. The professor is extremely difficult, does not teach whatsoever, and expects you to know everything. Exams are beyond difficult and not on what he teaches. Want to ask a question? Too bad. He gets so upset when someone asks him how to do something. if you want your GPA to drop, this is the course for you.

I started of with a different professor but I was pleasantly surprised with Professor Nassiripour. He is tough on you but only because he wants you to succeed and become a CPA. All in all I respect this professor and his test are pretty easy to prepare for since he tells you what is on the test.

He's TERRIBLEEEEEE i'm taking him now and he is trash if you want ya GPA to drop this is the class for you. HE will ruin your grade, he's rude, has a msart mouth and his test dont have nothing to do with what he teaches you have to teach yourself, he reads off the powerpoint slides.

The guy is pretty standard, reads through powerpoints and relies completely on the textbook. Thing is he offers ridiculous amounts of extra credit. Do all of the homework and extra credit, most are found online so you can teach yourself. Dont skip or you will get lost. The tests are hard but I went into the final needing only a 60 for the A.

It is so hard to learn from this professor. He teaches from the power points and rushes through them. Accounting is extremely hard as it is and he makes it even harder. For some people they cant just read the textbook and understand it. That's why we pay for school to get help and have professors that care and actually teach. HES SUCKS.

He gives weekly homework and group projects that count as a quiz grade. You basically have to teach yourself because all he does is read from slides. He doesn't take attendance and sitting in the class is a waste because you have to go home and reteach yourself what he lectured about. I honestly would never take him again.

Funny guy, Very straight forward. Doesn't hold your hand so expect to read the entire chapter and do the homework since those problems help prepare you for the exams. Gives really good reviews for his exams and basically tells you exactly what will be on there. Intermediate is not supposed to be easy so this is as good as it gets folks.

His tests are all open-ended questions. Final is not cumulative. Make sure you study and understand the exercises and problems thoroughly. Not very hard by any means, but you still need to work and understand the material. This is a weed out class, if you can't get at least a B in intermediate, don't pursue accounting any further

Out of all accounting professors in this university, this one is the easiest, and that's saying something. He isn't particularly clear when he teaches, so the book is a must. Really, you're better off teaching yourself the material, because he will just skim over it. Look for the international edition of the book, it's way cheaper. Good luck!

Doesn't even teach. He just goes through the slides and reads off of them without explaining. When he assigns homework, he will collect it then give the answers so you can't even compare it. His tests are really difficult. And it doesn't help that he has a really thick accent. I think this class would have been a lot easier if he knew how to teach

I had a summer class with him. He's knowledgeable & professional. Mainly teaches from the slides. Exams were relatively easy for me;studied hard by my own. If you don't love Accounting and can not study on your own, don't take him. You should be self motivated to take this class and get a good grade. (He does not babysit anybody,and i like it)

Wants you to pass. Curves all the tests. Homework is graded but even if you do it in class while hes reviewing it you get partial credit. Tests are take home accouting problems, and the in class portion is multiple choice, very easy to pass. Encourages people doing the take-home together. Talks a lot how he is cheap, funny guy.
