Dr. Jones is a great professor. She really wants everyone to get an A, so she will really work with you. The class was a very easy A, just show up and do the work and you're golden. She didn't assign homework which is nice. She really helped me with planning my future.

I took GSD 101 in the fall 2018 term and had Dr. Jones as an instructor. She was very nice and really seem to care about her students. Some of the activities we did in class seemed elementary but I did appreciate her experience and guidance to resources on campus. I would recommend her as a teacher.

I took GSD 101 in fall 2017. It was a good class, but really didn't like the paperwork. Also had some speakers who would show up unannounced. I liked Dr. Jones. She was very nice and was willing to work with me when I needed to work out work issues. I would take her again, but glad the GSD 101 class is over.

She is crazy about attendance. She doesn't tell you what you need to have turned in class and she doesn't post it on blackboard. She's low key rude and all she talks about is her life. Very boring class. She's a nice woman but not a very good teacher. I wouldn't recommend taking her. She never replies to emails.

Took WGS 201. Great class, however the group project that was required was difficult to understand the requirements and the workload was for a level 200 class was overwhelming for an online class. Take a different elective if possible, not worth the workload for the grades given.

WGS 201 was truly the best course I have had the privilege to take at EKU. Dr. Jones is a great teacher. I appreciated her weekly live meetings, even though we were not required to attend. I would highly recommend this instructor and this course. Every student should be required to take WGS 201.

I had her for WGS 201 and I will have to admit it was one of the hardest classes I have had. Group projects for an online class is nearly impossible and trying to keep up with all of the assignments she assigned was difficult trying to juggle a full time job with. I wouldn't recommend her unless you want to work on homework literally every day.

I took WGS 201 in the fall 2016 as an online course. I cannot say I wanted to take this class, but now in reflection I can say I did learn from the course. The teacher used Wikis for group projects. At first was overwhelmed, but really did value what we discussed and I can say I did learn. Glad the class is done, but it was worth it.

I took WGS 201 with Dr. Jones in fall 2016. This is truly one of the best classes I have had at EKU. The course is very well planned and she does a great job with getting people to work in groups using the Wiki tool. I had never used a Wiki before and I really didn't think it would work. But it did work and it was fair. I really learned a lot.

I took this course in spring 2016 at EKU. To be honest, this course was set up much different than the other C&J courses. I will say, it was actually set up better. I really appreciated the group discussions and the facilitator's contribution. I also really appreciated the weekly feedback (the grade book was updated by Monday each week). Good exp!

Took WGS 201 in spring 2016 as an eCampus course (part of my online program). I will say -- even though I was not excited about taking this specific course, the online class was very well planned and really valued the weekly virtual meetings. Dr. Jones really cares about the students -- it meant a lot to me. It was a good experience afterall.

Even though I wasn't very excited about having to take this course, I will admit I had a good experience. Dr. Jones is fair and she does expect you to work for a grade. The one thing that was helpful is she allows lots of flexibility each week. So as long as you can complete assignments each week, then you will be fine. Just don't get behind.

Dr. Jones was a good teacher but the class was not well formatted and her assignments required a lot of group work, which doesn't work for me. Expect no lenience if you work and go to school. I passed with no issues but I would not take another of her courses.

This was an 8 week course and I will admit, it was a lot of work. Dr. Jones used folders to organize the course info and then we just had to complete 1 folder each week. It worked well for me and everything we did was open book. I had time to read and comprehend what I was reading. There was a lot of group work, good group discussions.

Dr. Jones and the facilitators of this course were excellent! Truly one of the best online courses I have ever had at EKU. I would highly recommend this course to others who are interested in really exploring more about gender roles and the impact gender has on who we are in this world.

I loved this class! This was my first women's studies course and I will admit, I wasn't sure what to expect. It was really a great course and I now am looking into taking a second WGS course. I would recommend this class to anyone, but get ready for some work because it was all online. It really wasn't too bad. Dr. Jones was pretty good.

I really didn't want to take this course, but it was a gen ed requirement. But now the course is complete, I am really glad I took this course. I learned so much, things that really made me think about how I treat others and how I want to be treated too. I would highly recommend this course to others. Dr. Jones is always willing to help.

This was my first online course -- and didn't know if I could "get the hang of it" -- but Dr. Jones was great to work with. Would recommend anyone new to online course start with one of her courses -- very well organized. Felt like I learned a lot. She requires a lot of group work -- so be prepared to "be available" online.
