The homework is tough and very annoying but really makes you learn the material. Try to get it done as soon as possible because it will take longer than you expect (or want). Having previous tests to study is your best bet. It's very hard to get an A but a lot easier to not fail if you go to class (there are clicker quizzes) and put in effort.

Pericles is a great guy, pretty cool as a professor too. His class is difficult but as long as you study hard and participate in clicker quizzes it's an easy B for sure. He grades tough so make sure you know your stuff before tests.

Tough class, by far one of the harder classes my first semester. However, Pericles gives you all the information you need in order to pass this class. Passing is not hard at all, but excelling takes time out of class. His accent is overemphasized, hes easy to understand and is not boring as long as youre there to learn and not just get a credit.

I really enjoyed this class, but it was very difficult in my opinion. Attendance is pretty important. He does not post slide or have power points he writes everything on the board, so make sure you're paying attention. He's really good at going at a reasonable pace with good handwriting, so it's not too bad. Also, there are always clicker quizzes.

He's funny in a cynical way, but lecture is still long and difficult most days. Clickers all the time and at different points in the lecture to encourage attendance. He's obviously very smart and a pretty old school teacher. He is generous with the curve. Easy to pass, but not an easy A for most students. Practice a lot for the exams.

There is at least one clicker quiz a lecture, so attend lecture everytime. The book and his lectures do not always agree, so take as many notes as possible. All in all, the class is easy as long as you study for the exams.

While the grading curve in this class is ridiculously easy, the lectures did not often help me as much as I would have wanted. His lectures were often hard to comprehend, although the actual topics were fairly simply and easy. He is, however, a funny and willing to help professor.

Pericles is a great college professor who tries to keep lectures entertaining although they can be a bore. Only need to get an 80% in his class to get an A, so it's rather easy to get 800 out of 1000 points. I spent 4 hours a week outside of class on a no test week. I spent close to 12 hoursweek outside of class when we did have a test that week.

For someone who is better at algebra than me, this class might be easier. I had a really difficult time as a bio major though. Lectures aren't bad but the online hw is done by another professor and it does not match up well with the way he teaches and is sometimes wrong. The quizzes are difficult. His tests are almost exactly like previous ones.

First problem, he has a thick Greek accent which makes him impossible to understand, secondly if you get a clicker question wrong he doesn't review them so you have no what you did. His lectures are boring so if you aren't a chemE than it really sucks. He doesn't explain things well, and he wasn't at LEAD when I tried to get help (3x)

Pericles is a pretty good teacher. Clicker questions are basically give me points, homework can be difficult so I recommend attending LEAD or having a chegg account. He provides you with previous tests to study from. Overall I think he prepares you for the class and to do well.

I do not like him at all, I think most of the people who do well in class took AP chem in high school... i do my homework and i try the practice tests(with only answers shown, it doesn't really all that helpful), and i do poorly on the tests... or the other explanation is that i just suck at math

Are you kidding? This class is super easy. I got out of there with a 98% and it's a 75% to get an A. The quizzes are hard, but everything else is simple. He gives you a practice test so you know exactly what will be on there. Email me at ceavv6@mst.edu for a file and you should have everything you need.

Don't listen to most people that review him. If you want to LEARN this material, you will do fine. His quizes are rediculously hard, but the clickers and homework are unbelievably easy. This class revolves around the tests. You will have to study, but you will learn. I suggest taking his practice test, plus one other test from an old file or

ChemE and science majors, beware. Pericles has a greek accent that while pretty understandable, is extremely monotone and hard to listen to. Very boring. Quizzes and tests are difficult. Clicker quizzes and homework are easier, especially with his help sessions. He is very nice, though, and will give help outside of class if you ask.

I really like this class, and Pericles is a good teacher, but it is still HARD! Getting a 75% may seem like a piece of cake but it is harder than you might think. I would not recommend taking this class for fun, but only if you have to take it.

Pericles was a great teacher, if you go to class, do the homework, and know your chemistry, you should get a B easy. If you have any questions on homework or review problems, just email him or go to his office and he'll help you until you figure out the problem, this isnt a hard class some people are just dumb
