Professor Amorous is by far one of my favorite professors. He's funny, patient, and knows what he's talking about. You can pretty much paint whatever you want to. Everyone in my class loves him! I can't wait to take him again.

Awesome prof, knowledgeable & creative. Helpful & interested in his students work, very open assignments, majority of semester is spent developing a personal series. Critiques run long but you get good feedback. I would definitely recommend taking his class, easy A & you benefit from being allowed to choose what you want to do.

Excellent Teacher, Highly intelligent and creative, Insightful, and helpful. I understand if some students have artistic disagreements, and had they're grade affected. These are rare cases, even i only heard of one case in all 4 courses i took with him. A++

He will totally fail you if you disagree with him on anything especially if you do artwork that has to do with your faith with Christ. He totally ripped me off of getting on the presidents list my senior year because we disagreed. He told me that if I didn't do what he wanted me to do then he would fail me. He did. Don't take him if your like me.

He's very flexible and you can learn a lot if you pay attention. He tends to waffle on about irrelevant art but you can see his knowledge about it. If you see him teaching a class, take it. Invariably, it will help you out.

Knows art inside and out, can show you what you are doing wrong and show you what you can do to improve, and give you different ideas on how to solve problems with your art that you maybe didn't think about. Great artist and a great teacher!
