He is a pretty good teacher. The material is not the easiest to do, but I thought he did a good job of presenting it. The book in my opinion just confuses people. Tests were fair although I never finished early. He sets barely enough time. Has a pretty big curve so getting an A shouldn't be too hard.

The material is not as much hard as it is time consuming, I think if everyone is willing to make the commitment I think they'll do well. That being said I barely did anything because I found the reading dry but problems fun, then it became kind of tedious and boring. He's ok,doesnt really explain well, but easy pass/fail class.Lil effort thats it.

This class was very difficult. The professor is highly intelligent and I think he forgets that not everyone is that smart while he's teaching.

He is very enthusiastic and wants the students to participate. However, he has a hard time explaining things so that they are sufficiently understood.

I don't even know why people will think this class is hard as long as you try to do the homework and then attend the discussion section and the TA's will explain how to solve the problems. Just follow the rules and get A in that class. Big curve because alot of people get low grades on tests which I don't understand why.

People who think his class is hard probably didn't read the book. You can skip lecture, but it is absolutely essential that you READ THE TEXTBOOK. Its written in a way that makes it easy to learn. Other logic classes use a different book, and it's 10x harder. Understanding Symbolic Logic by Klenk is the one we had. It gets real hard the last unit.

Hardest class ever!!! I looked up what people had to say about him before I enrolled but I took it anyway...please don't. Finals are next week and he still doesnt know how big of a curve is going to be. The average score on tests is a low D. He tries his best at the material but teaches it too fast. Homework was graded very harshly.

On the first day he makes it clear that you have to KEEP UP! and its so true. Its a hard class and its essential to read the textbook. Make sure you have the current one too because I had the older one and some hw questions were different. The TA's do take off for EVERYTHING... I had Kamron... he was OK.

Try to avoid Hylton's class his TA's are such hard graders most of the time you don't get any partial credit for your work. I wish I took this class pass/fail. If you think that you know everything for an A, on exams you will get B or C

Ridiculously easy class. Got an A and attended class less than 1/3 of the time. Homeword every week, but it doesn't take long. If you don't attend class much, watch out for quizzes given in section on occasion.

The class is hard, but the professor is very much interested in helping his students succeed. Unfortunately, several of my classmates seem to want to talk in class and ignore the instructor and then get bent out of shape if asked to be quiet and pay attention...not a blow-off class.

Very hard class, and even harder material. But sincerely doesn't want to fail anyone, I practically did, talked to him and he is giving me an incomplete, instead of an F, most teacher's aren't as generous.

He knows the material, and getting useful feedback is a matter of knowing what you want to ask and being clear about it. The class IS hard, but some of these ratings just sound like sour grapes...
