Comment:

One of my favourite profs! He'd start every lecture by saying good afternoon to us and telling a little story. This guy loves math and it shows. His examples in class are easy to follow and effective and his notes are really good. He speaks clearly and loudly enough that you can understand easily.

Comment:

He was a good prof although I found his lectures very slow. He did midterm and final exam review sessions outside class time which was very nice of him. He sometimes cracks some jokes and tells stories in class.

Dr. Minev is definitely my favourite prof. An inspirational and sometimes philosophical man who really enjoys his craft. He expects effort from his students and will make you work for your grade.

Comment:

Midterm was super easy, but the final was brutal. They made the class average a 2.2, which I thought wasn't very nice of them. The material was not taught at a very fine pace, and I found the final to be unfair. Overall don't recommend this prof but it's not like you have a better alternative!

Loved this prof - he really worked the examples and explained the theory well enough to apply it to class. Bit of a tough grader, though, and a hard exam writer.

He is an excellent prof. Has some good jokes, and explains real world application,and his classes are very fast paced. Gotta keep up to get all the notes down Does lots of examples and practice. Overall a good prof Would recommend

He's a nice guy and everything but shouldn't be a prof. How he's the math 201 lead is beyond me. Doesn't explain concepts very well, constantly makes mistakes, and gets off topic very often and then ends up dragging his lecture longer than the 50 minutes that's allocated.

He's absolutely utterly useless.. Skips WAY to many steps in class and doesn't even post the right answers to assignments or midterms. Rather wait a semester than take it with this prof.

Comment:

Not easy, but fair. If you wanna learn any math, this is your guy. Go to class every lecture and grade will be good. He has an accent, but is not hard to understand at all (in fact, one of the lightest accents I have heard from an international prof). I would recommend to any student.
