Enjoyed the class and the professor. Lots of fun learning and to attend. Even better if you read the assignment very closely and can follow along with his humor!

Amazing and inspirational. Never a controversial word out of his mouth. Cooperative and understanding. Show up and he'll teach you, just show up. I couldn't imagine he'd ever say anything that would offend anyone. His interpretations of readings are incredibly helpful and will open your eyes to entirely new worlds (ask him about Jaws once).

Doc White is the man. He's super fair, fun, and totally not a misogynist. I'd take any class he taught without hesitation. Absolutely my favorite teacher of all time!

Great teacher! Has been a great mentor throughout my college! Someone who can actually inspire almost any student to participate and engage. Unless the person is a total shut in...Take any class with him you will not regret it.

Peter has been my favorite professor in 6 semesters at UNM. The class (folk music in America) is very interesting, and he genuinely loves the topic. If you show up and read you'll be good.

I loved this professor! He is super knowledgeable but doesn't lecture. He really keeps it real and talks to people straight up. He is also concerned with how students are doing and is open to discussion, extra credit, and explanation. I highly recommend- but be ready to read the assignments and participate in class. He wants people to think.

I took this class over intercession and Professor White kept things very interesting and engaging throughout the long class hours. Doing the reading was definitely mandatory and he expected participation in class, but he was very understanding of more introverted students. I highly recommend the class.

Professor White's main focus when teaching is helping students develop a more intellectual thought process. His method helps students in more than just his class. As his student you will learn how to use critical thinking in any aspect of school and even everyday life. Not to mention he's easy on the eyes. ;)

At UNM, aka University Next to Mom, most classes don't expect much. I mean, it might as well be community college, but Prof White really teaches and relates the materials back to life instead of just deadpanning everything. His tests are fill in the blank and essay and everything is explained clearly.

Dean WHite is awesome! His priority is to get us adjusted as incomming freshmen. He is trying really hard to teach us to become "scholars' and learn in a scholarly manner.
