He is a fair professor who writes easy tests and will go out of his way to help you. However you won't get that test back for about a month, and his lectures are so slow and disorganized you will fall asleep. I have never heard someone use "umm" as much as this man, it is actually impressive at times.

Dr. Dowds is a great guy who cares about teaching. but he treats this 1 credit lab like a 4 credit course and shoves copious amounts of material at us. I am an A student who struggles in his class. It's just a supplemental lab sir...not a class of it's own.

Dr. Dowds is awesome!! He is so nice and offers such great feedback. He is a little on the quiet side but SOOO!!!!!???? If you have a question he'll answer and even go farther than that in his explanation. He's great and sooo charming!

He's very nice, and very helpful! His notes and the subject of his courses are well-organized, interesting, and his teaching materials really get you interested in the class, even if you aren't a bio teacher!
