Tough grader and doesn't always make it clear what you are supposed to study. Constantly feel like you are studying the wrong thing when she gives a test that has several questions you don't recognize on it.

One of my favorite professors at Mott. Makes lectures enjoyable and fun! Take good notes! Study the study guides as tests are a large portion of your grade. Don't be afraid to ask questions.

Comment:

No doubt the hardest class I have ever taken at Mott. I've been attending for two years and have not run into a professor as hard as Doc. Don't get me wrong, incredibly nice lady, but the tests made up a huge portion of the grade and if you didn't do well you failed. When taking the exams, nothing we covered was on them.

Good class! I learned a lot. Not easy by any means, but enjoyable. I had to work hard for my A. Grading is clear. Study the book!!

Comment:

I loved having Mrs. Laimon for my Psychology class. She makes the lectures very interesting, making sure that you understand the material. The quizzes were case based. I liked that she didn't get us lost into details, I left that class having a solid base in Psychology. Never a dull moment in her lectures, I would love to recommend her. Amazing!

She is very kind and she makes her lectures personable by adding in her examples that she has actually experienced. She keeps your attention by giving you activities and anecdotes so it's not just boring note-taking. Don't be afraid to ask questions. I asked a lot and she answered all of them thoroughly!

Mrs. Laimon can be very condescending at times. She is just different I guess. Although her lectures are very easy to understand, her tests are extremely difficult including the paper that is required for us to turn in. Tough grader. She gives a lot of extra credit though so if you bomb a test you'll at least get extra points. yay!

Laimon gives great examples during lectures. Only graded on tests and one paper. Will only use the book about twice for minor details. Notes are powerpoint based. Don't miss class too often, but you could manage to miss one or two and still get an A. Laimon is pretty funny and really knows her stuff. The final exam study guide makes the final easy.

Doctor Laimon was a great professor and I'm honestly disappointed I wont have her for more classes. Her lectures were clear and and she gives note outlines so you know exactly what is on the quizzes. She also gives many opportunities for extra credit so this class is an easy a that does not require much time out of class. Absolutely loved her!

Comment:

Dr. Laimon is my favorite professor! She gives many examples and scenarios to help her students understand concepts and terms in the notes, and she makes sure everyone understands what she is teaching. She gives amazing outlines for notes and does not rush through the notes. She also gives many opportunities for extra credit! Highly recommend her!

This professor DOES NOT help what so ever. Expects you to learn the material yourself. When you ask what you can do to boost your grade she tells you to read the book. Not an ideal professor unless you are auditory. Not willing to help raise your grade. Gives some lecture for some chapters but not much homework.

She often brings up her divorces. Her teaching style is good but the stories she uses threw me off so much during the semester! she is very unclear about what to study you study the chapter but she wants you to use her notes? Oh yeah you have to write a 3 page paper in her class as well

Great professor but very difficult. There is a lot of content to cover and she expects a lot. Study hard and you will pass. She does hold office hours and she genuinely cares about how her students perform and how they are doing in general.

I found her hard to listen too, lots of rambling and pacing. Real life stories, ok but can we just get down to business. The scratch of scantrons are a joke, one small error and points are taken off. I don't expect anything given to me and I don't mind hard work but really. Oh well good luck.

If you attend all classes, take good notes, and read textbook chapters it is a easy class if you do not read textbook and skip classes you will fail this class. I will take a class where she is instructor anytime
