Dr. Khera is one of the best prof. in the department. The notes & examples he lays out in class is what he will put on the test. If you do the hw & understand it you will get an A. If you get lower then a B there is something wrong with you! He is more then willing to help you and answer all your questions. Take him before he retires!!

I had Dr. Khera for my CE641 during my graduate study some 15 years ago. Though Dr. Khera is very strict and demanding I learned a lot from his lectures and homeworks. He is really an exponent in Geotechnical Engineering. God Bless him.

make sure you buy the book and print his notes... one of the worst classes (not because of content, because he can't teach if his life depended on it). He just reads his powerpoint.. tests are longer than the time he gives...

This professor is one of the best that NJIT has to offer. I had him for Soil Mechanics and I am now taking him for Foundation Design. He is a great teacher in the classroom and very willing to help outside of the class. Do the homework, go to class, and study HIS examples and you should have no problem getting an A in any of his classes.

I have never been compelled to write a teacher review before but this warrants it... He is hard to hear and his handwriting is difficult to decipher. If you dont understand something he gets mad at you... this is the first class ever that the content doesn't bother me but i dread going simply because of the teacher. avoid at all costs.

Raj is a great professor and asset to NJIT. He is tough, but if you do the work..you will pass. He will not let you fail if you show him the effort. Great professor and you will learn something from his class, unlike some of the other professors out there. I have over 210 credit hours, so I know professors.

This is guy is one of the worst professors that i have had in my college experience. Had the missfortune of having to take him for two different class and they were equally painful. does not finish examples and his deffinition of help is skewed.
