Very basic professor. Does not use technology nor does he have PowerPoints for his material. There is and oral presentation but easy grade just do it. Didnt need a textbook at all. Does a quick review over the test but simply states what you went through. Tests are multiple choice with one or two essays. Easy going professor.

He is a really laid back guy, but you have to be attentive and seem to be paying pretty good attention for him to be entustiastic about your passing. Had to do an oral presentation but you pretty much get the full 100 if you just get up there with something. What textbook? I seriously didn't use it all semester, and I took an 8 week term.

Rand Harris is an awesome teacher. I enjoyed his class very much. He made his lectures entertaining and kept me interested in the subject. We had a total of 3 exams and an oral presentation. His exams follow his lectures, so make sure to go to class. You will not be disappointed if you take this class. I made an A.

Great professor! The best I've had in my college career so far. Lectures are entertaining. There are 3 exams, all from material discussed in lectures. There's one oral presentation that's graded pretty leniently. Easy A for me.

I took sociology whith him this semester, and it was alright. you have a total of 3 test and an oral presentation( which is graded easily) and an optional exam if you need some help on your grade. You dont need the ext book at all, just study the nites and you'll do just fine!!

For me this class was a breeze. There are 3 tests, an oral presentation, & an optional final (that replaces your lowest test grade). Prof. Harris is usually generous on the presentation grades. He is nice and funny without meaning to be. He sometimes rushes out quickly after lecture, so catch him quick if you need to. I made an A. Great class.

I did not like this class (subject) but I did like Rand. He is funny in a way and EXTREMELY laid back, but show up on time for the test (even profs like to leave early sometimes!). Don't bother buying the book...100% of tests come from lectures. If you go to class and take notes you should make an A.

he is awesome and easy. i barely went to class and still made an A. his lectures were interesting and so it was easy to remember. i only studied about an hour or two before the tests. he also has an optional final.....definately take this teacher!

Loved this professor... kept me very interested, 100% of the tests were from the lecture... I never even bought a book, made a B plus... he was very entertaining... Kind of reminded me of Tim Allen. Loved the class.

This guys is really easy; I didn't study more than 15 hours the whole semester and I got a B in the class, plus If you just do the speech you get a 100, it’s worth 25% of your grade (my speech sucked and I still got a 100) LOL…
