Do not take this guy! He wastes all 40 minutes of class teaching you stuff which you could get from the book. Gives information which is useless for the test- does not prepare you well for tests either. And definitely not an understanding person!

Incredibly smart teacher who really knows his math. If you ask him for a proof he can give it to you immediately most of the time. Some people get bored because of his thorough explanations, but I found them to be helpful. His tests were very easy and would give extra credit questions. If he made a mistake on a quiz he would give people full credit

Comment:

Seemed disorganized, forgetful. Has the worst handwriting ever. Needs to learn to use an eraser, rather than smudging the board with his fingers. Very good at explaining mathematical concepts, especially the more abstract ideas. Tests are reasonable if you do the uncollected homework carefully. The text by Epp is excellent, do read it.

His class maybe boring at times but he's very helpful, very easy exams, he doesnt want to give students a hard time. He know his stuff and especially if you get 1:1 help from him you can see that he has a clear idea of what he's talking about.

Clear explanation, helpful lecture. Some students hate him just because 2B is a hard class. But, I think there is no teacher can teach 2B better than him. I recommend him.

Worst teacher in terms of grading. The guy could not finish the subject in 50 minutes then tried to teach everything to you in 5 minutes. it is funny that he is teaching math 1d and 1b at the same time in summer.Avoid taking him.

Mr Taylor is a great Math teacher who really cares and will take the time to go over things with you if you make the time. Take advantage of office hours if you need help, he'll help you understand. Just try hard and do the homework and you'll do well.

If you are as passionate in Math as he is then take him.But if you are like me and need lots of help in understanding the subject,then don't ever take him.He is hard to understand and he confuses you.There will be 2 midterms and a final.There are also small quizes which will only help your grade.

THE worst teacher ever. his back covers everything on the board, he writes very small and messy, erases so fast and talks so quietly, SO hard to take notes. doesn't like to bring hw slns, so no way to check your hw. tests on material not covered in class. he only knows how to teach himself, not you!

A good solid teacher that cares. Teaches the core solidly. You need to be johnny-on-the-spot with the quizes; which, consistently checks the core material. If you are quick with a pencil and want to learn what the math is good for he could be for you.
