I was very unimpressed by Julian. He is an extremely confusing professor, and often forgets simple math facts such as negatives or incorrectly multiples. While those mistakes are expected and understandable, it was his rudeness and lack of care for my peers and I that I was not impressed with. He does not hear very well, which interfered with teach

this instructor does go out of his way to help , but his teaching style is fast and sparatic, he is all over the place and gets distracted easy with other examples before he finishes previous stuff. and you better know 65 well because he refuses to review any of it.he jumps right into a problem as soon as he walks in the classroom. Bob is a Great teacher! really cares about his students doing well and helps you out also if your stuck on a test! No notes on tests but gives a take home test with all word problems and the inclass test is only about 10-20 questions. He makes it fun and applies it to real life. Funny, and teaches you what you need to know. Wish he taught all math.

Julian is unfortunately a little senile. He is a retired high school teacher and i think it is time for him to stop. He never connects the relativity of a subject to it's purpose. He tells you "to just do" things w/o making it clear as to why we are doing them. He is anal but he will show some favor to you if you are an A student.

I barely passed MTH 60 with Mark Ross so I was a little freaked out by having to take 65. I transferred over to Bob's class after hearing a woman say that he explained things very well. He is a little like an absent minded professor but I found it charming because he is so nice. He is very helpful and wants you to succeed. I got a B and passed. YAY

I took this class in the summer and we TORE through the material....Mr. Julian was great. Very clear, consise and helpful. He also didn't pile on homework just for the sake of homework. He did tend to mess up on the board, but was gracious when we questioned him about it. I would take any math class from him again.
