Comment:

The worst professor I have had at WSU by far! She is late handing back assignments and lies to you about having them graded on time. We are expected to turn something in by the due date, but she takes until the end of the quarter. She is very unprofessional;she lost quiz scores and asked us to email them to her two days prior to grades being due.

Dr. Garner does everything on HER time. She isn't clear and expects us to know whats going on when she doesn't even know. She rarely gets back to your emails and she is not interested in her classes. She doesn't even listen to the policy about due dates for our grades. I have yet to receive my grade in this class and she didn't even post the grades

She was horrible. We had so much busy work and it was all extremely repeative. She never passed back most of our assignments graded so I had no idea what grade I would be recieving. If at all possible avoid taking her!!

Educated but I saw no passion to teach. Assigns busy work but does not teach. Class would be as effective as on-line course. Does not reply to e-mails in a timely manner if at all.

Garner assigns a MASSIVE amount of busy work that is just pointless. Her lectures are worthless. I learned nothing from this class. It is not that hard to get an A in the class if you are prepared to do a lot of pointless busy work. I would not recommend taking her.

Dr. Garner, knows her stuff. She brings real life experience to the class and is very helpful. If you read the book, all of the information you will need is in it...many people choose not to read and then complained about not knowing what to do. Her class is relaxed and fun. Show up and participate, she enjoys that.

One of the most intelligent instructors I've had. Expects students to be mature & respectful & raises the bar for all who pursue leadership. Very thoughtful, tries to reach everyone, definitely a content expert, one of WSU's best! And simply awesome person.

I HAD DR. GARNER FOR A SUMMER CLASS. SHE WAS VERY CLEAR IN COMMUNICATING WHAT THE CLASS WILL INTEL AND WHAT IS EXPECTED OF US. SHE MADE IT A POINT TO MAKE SURE SHE KNEW OUR NAMES. SHE IS NOT A PERSON WHO WILL HOLD YOUR HAND THROUGH CLASS AND EXPECTS EVERYONE TO BE RESPECTFUL ON ONE ANOTHER. SHE IS VERY ASSERTIVE AND I LIKED THAT.

I thought Dr. Garner was a great instructor. The class was laid back. I think what people don't like about her is that she expects maturity and professionalism, not too much to ask for those going into leadership. Supportive but doesn't handhold students. Follow directions & you'll do great. She is very flexible.

We meet for class once a week. We are informed day 1 that we won't be meeting for 4 weeks. She leaves the country without assigning us the things she was supposed to. We get a letter from the Board of Ed saying they're trying to make sure she's ok. The whole class is confused and don't know HOW we're doing, WHAT we're doing, and STILL don't know

She is completely unorganized and unhelpful. I hate to say things like that, because she is acutally a nice woman, but she has no clue how to teach at the college level. I had her for more than 1 class, and it was always the same. And don't waste your time emailing or calling her because she will not respond! Avoid her at all costs!

Avoid this instructor if you can. She did not seem to be very knowledgeable about the subject material and had a tendency to talk in circles. Her syllabus changed numerous times and she failed to answer or clarify our questions. She did not give us ANY grades or feedback until after the class was done, and she NEVER responded to e-mails.

Summer class, so it wasn't bad, the entire class was online and we only met three times in the actual classroom. She is going through some hard times, so getting her to respond to emails is difficult. You must be pacient with her as your professor. I would take her another one of her classes though.
