Your grade is determined by attendance (20%) and 3, 9-11 pg. papers (80%). Class can get boring and very political, but there is a lot of material to be enjoyed as well. I love Roger because he makes an effort to give everyone the opportunity to have their opinion heard and respected. He has good stories to tell too!

Media Psych: Dr. Klein is one of the best professors at Pitt. His class isn't stressful, and you learn A LOT. You have 3 essays (from 16 possible topic choices--pick what you like!). No tests. If you pay attention, you'll get a lot out of his class. He's been in the field for so long, and he knows his stuff. Great teacher. I HIGHLY recommend.

Dr. Klein is my favorite professor at Pitt because his class is very interesting. I have had other classes where I have done much more work and have gotten much less out of them. Dr. Klein relates the class to real life experiences and education. (The class I took was Psch for educ). Even our assignments were interesting which made them less stress

Probably the easiest psych class I have taken in 4 years. Very interesting, a lot of videos. No tests just 3 papers which were all easy. Can learn a lot in class, but mostly based on his life experiences vs. any actual text book material. Easy A. Take him, love him.

Tends to get off topic but in a fun way. Class talks about a variety of topics related to education and teaching.

I really looked forward to taking this class, and I learned pretty much nothing at all from it! It was a complete waste of time; and unfortunately, Klein incorporated his opinions more into lecture than actual facts. Also gave an unfair extension to students in a class project, even though they procastinated the entire semester and he knew it.

He's not bad. He doesn't like when you don't come to class. He likes himself...a lot. If you get a grade you don't think you deserve you can talk to him about it and eventually he'll take care of it. He makes random corrections on papers that are unnecessary and irritating.

One of the top 3 professors in my book. The guy is easy-going, and is more focused on learning rather than grades. Nobody is going to fail! He just wants to see something to show that you learned something in class. Very interesting personality. Go ASTROS!

Wonderfully animated professor. More like watching 20/20 than sitting in a class! Shows a little too many videos in class. Overall, a very engaging and interesting class.

I found the class very interesting. He's good at giving lectures and his main flaw is being to thorough when explaining so that it seems to obvious. All in all a good professor.

Seems like a nice enough guy, and the material's fairly easy, but his notes/lectures are SO UNORGANIZED. It's hard to follow what he's saying and what sort of point he's trying to make. Tests were very unpredictable - Was the material coming from the notes or from the lecture?

Great professor, this was the 5th of my psych classes at Pitt and by far the most intresting. Professor really uses examples you will remember. Even though he repeats himself a lot, it means you have less to study for the test. Also he doesnt lie about being general On the tests. He really is.

REPEATS HIMSELF WAYYY TOO MUCH. The class is 2 1/2 hrs. The first half, he just repeats what he went over during the 2nd half of the previous lecture, then during that 2nd half he starts new material. Its a horrible cycle! Overall, very boring, but it can be done.

Although the class was really easy and I got an A without going to 75% of the classes, I don't feel he focused on the developmental aspects I expected. I liked that it was easy, but it didn't focus on the things I wanted to learn about in that subject.

This is the only class that you can sleep through and still get at least a B. Only 3 multiple choice exams and notes are on a website. If you read the book you can ace this class.
