Excellent URBNST capstone course. Regular lectures with weekly guest speakers. 20-ish page paper due in three installments throughout the semester--ungraded until turned in as one paper at the end. Great man.

Mo Coleman is the best professor at the University of Pittsburgh. Period. His class is not difficult, yet you'll learn everything you ever need to know about Urban Government. Furthermore, Mo knows everyone. Your guest speaker list looks like a who's-who of regional government officials. Take him as often as possible -- you won't regret it.

He tries to make the material interesting and brings in about 7-10 guest speakers during the term. His grading is easy and he tells you exactly what is ecpected from you on tests.

His class was my best experience at Pitt. He knows everybody who is anybody in Pgh. and had many of them in to speak! The curriculum could have been a little better defined but that wasn't his fault. He genuinely cares and wants students to succeed.
