Prof Langers lectures are very boring. A word document that you can barely read accompanied by her rambling stories. Our two case assignments were not extremely clear, and provided no insight. She seems like a nice lady on a personal level but I wouldnt take a class with her again

Will not grade your assignments and hand them back in a timely manner (or won't hand them back at all) which then leaves you wondering where you stand in terms of your grade/if you're doing well in the class. Is quite rude at times, and lectures are extremely boring. She is a tough grader and has very high/unrealistic expectations.

Definitely avoid taking her classes at all costs. If your assignments aren't word for word her answers, you won't do well. Has terrible overhead notes and rambles throughout the whole class.

Comment:

When teaching an "Intro" class, Langer expects you to have previous knowledge of the material, material that she hasn't even taught yet. Her lectures are dry and you must multitask, taking notes of what's on the slides as well as what she's saying. Read the cases, expects you to have examples for EVERYTHING! Hard marker!

I did not like her at all. I am a straight A student and struggled so much with her. Her classes are boring and her overhead notes are basically useless. She rambles on about random subjects that have nothing to do with public law. If your assignments are not word for word exactly the way she wants it, you will get a bad mark. Would not recommend

Boring classes which make you fall asleep. She definitely needs to reevaluate her course matter and somehow try to make it a little more interesting for students of this generation. Very tough midterm which we weren't really prepared for. Unnecessary topics being taught in class which really have nothing to do with Public Law. Terrible prof.

I know the feedback isn't great for this proff, but honestly I really liked her. I found her lectures interesting, she handed back assignments in a timely manner and she used lots of case law examples. I really enjoyed her class and would even say she was one of my favourite professors. Study and understand the material and you will pass no problem

Hated her, I am a straight A student and struggled immensely with her. Only midterm I have ever failed. With her assignments she will dock marks on the tiniest things and unless you do it word for word how she wants you won't get a good mark. Handed in assignments after working very hard and expecting to get 90s and would only get a 60.

By far one of the best teachers i've ever had. Aced the course, barely took me any time to review the notes provided for the exams. Overall great experience, and look forward too more classes with her!

The worst law prof in the school. She marks very tough even after visiting her for help on asking what she want. Lectures are too long and boring. Will never review for exam.

Not too bad of a prof, pretty boring lectures, also lacks respect for law. When I asked her for advice in pursuing a career for law she told me that there is no point since it is too hard and i would not succeed. Don't go to her for advice, but if you are able to take good notes and write an exam without any review you can do well in her course.

She's not a bad prof, but not great either. The material she covers are clear cut but her explanations and marking say otherwise. Asking for clarification usually doesn't resolve anything. Her marking can also be harsh, and she doesn't explain why. If you take her courses, be prepared to work and understand exactly what she wants from you.

She is very unorganized and rarely shows up to class a minute before it should start. Also, she leaves soon as class is over, so she is never available to talk to. He presentations were terrible and rarely did she follow them well. She rambles a lot and marks way to hard. Will never take a class with her again.

She is a bright person and is helpful when approached. She doesnt give marks free nor should she. Only concern with her is that she religiously won't do an exam review. Only professor that just feels you should know it all. If I were a lawyer maybe! but she brings it upon herself. Rate her above average person but below average instructor.

She is all over the place in her lectures and it is unclear where she is going with her points when she is talking. Her slides are not helpful at all and are poorly done. She just rambles on a lot and is very boring. Will not take another class with her if possible.
