She is super sweet. Ask lots of questions and she will be glad to answer them. There are a few boring videos to watch but it is lit after all. All exams were challenging with matching terms, multiple choice, and short answer/essay. Read the material thoroughly and don't fall behind. If you are having trouble go to office and she will work with you.

Dr. Cox is a really sweet lady. She knows her stuff in and out. This class was a lot of work but I became a much better writer in the process. Be prepared to take a 100 question multiple choice test over library research terms and grammar/punctuation. That was the worst part of it. There is no one better to learn this subject from!

Dr. Cox is fabulous. Be prepared to discuss the works, otherwise she will go on forever in class, and it will seem like a long, boring lecture. Gives you ample time to do assignments. Her first exam can be tricky, but you get used to it from there. A bit of a hard grader, if you don't have exactly what she wants on the terms she will mark heavily

She is great teacher. She really tries to work with you. It is not the easiest class. There are alot of assignment, but most of them you are allowed to turn in and revise for a better grade. She also gives you grace periods to turn in late papers. Overall she is a great teacher for English especially if it is not your favorite subject.

Great professor. Really knows her stuff.She gives alot of work so I would advise not taking her during the summer months like I did. I got an A in her class, but I did feel a little overwhelmed with all that work in such a short period of time. Make sure your grammar is tight bc she is a stiffler for that. Would take her again:)

She is a really nice little lady. I took her for honors and let me tell you it is a lot of work! she expects you to know a lot for her test but if you have been paying attention in class you should be fine! and make sure you take notes ans circle passages while she talks they will be on the test!

Her main goal seems to be to improve her students' writing skills. She offers helpful feedback and allows extra time and chances to rewrite your papers. She is a Nazi grammar that is picky about details but without the snobby attitude. She does grade the papers as a whole and not small errors. I suggest taking her class on research paper.

Dr. Cox is an excellent professor -- her tests are easy so long as you come to class and do a little bit of studying. She can be strict on her essay grading, but so long as you proof your work thoroughly you'll be just fine. She is very accommodating, perhaps to the point where some students can push her around. She's very sweet, though!

This professor was very sweet and very helpful to her students, but she was also way too easy on me. She gave me multiple, and sometimes ridiculous extensions. This professor can be walked all over. But she also knows her subject. She isn't the best for personalities that need firm guidance, but otherwise I would recommend her.

She is a great professor. I took her Honor's American Lit class. It's a lot of reading and writing, but it's worth it. She is very helpful and explains to you exactly what she wants. It was not an easy A, but I did get an A.

She is a very good teacher, but her class is difficult. She is a very strict grader, but she gives you a chance to make up all grades. She gives you a chance to turn in work after due date and is super helpful. She is honestly one of the smartest women I have ever met. I loved her class!!!

Dr. Cox's class can be challenging, but you learn a lot and she is extremely helpful and obviously loves teaching English literature. She is also very forgiving if you have difficulties and often allows you to correct mistakes. Her class was one of the best I've taken.
