i would not recommend her to my worst enemy. Her lectures are confusing, the tests are poorly written and needlessly difficult . she is also incredibly abrasive and rude. Do yourself a favor and stay away from her for your grade and your sanity.

Quizzes are barely relative to what she spoke about in class. I studied all my notes from her lectures and they didnt help at all. Her powerpoints are useless . And there are quizzes every thursday, she makes them out of 40 at the end of the semester and drops your lowest, but that didnt really help at all. Sucks bc this class is required :(

Professor Hubbard wants to help her students. The best way to pass her courses is to go to her office hours. You can never say you never learned anything in her class.

Awful teacher. If you can avoid her at all costs PLEASE DO SO. The class is totally disorganized and confusing. I dont feel like I learned anything from her. She is also seriously rude and nasty.

Hubbard wants you to understand the material and not just memorize it. In that sense she is fine, but her weekly tests were supposed to be based off of her lectures and there were questions we never went over in class. Her quizzes were confusingly worded and she doesn't help out with her grading. Her lectures were confusing and she's intimidating.

She is the worst. Her lectures never relate to the topic. Her notes don't make any sense. I had to basically teach myself from the textbook, which she doesn't use in class. If you have to take this class don't chose her.

Pretty much ruined my Freshman year. Her class is brutal: almost two hours of non-stop rambling and it's impossible to ask her questions because she doesn't know how to answer them; she just rephrases them. Not at all helpful, doesn't know the material well. She is rude, disrespectful, mean, and gets pleasure at failing many people.

Worst teacher I have ever had in my three years at MU. Her lectures are totally disorganized: she jumps from one topic to another for no rime or reason, contradicts herself, and get disoriented. She managed to turn the most straightforward concepts into a mangled pile of crap. She is also unpleasant and abrasive. DO NOT PUT YOURSELVES THROUGH THIS

She is by far the worst teacher I have ever had. I never regretted taking a class as I did hers. Her lectures are confusing and incomprehensible, she is often forgetful and disoriented, and she has a nasty and rude attitude. I warn everyone to stay away from her classes.

Everything Dr. Hubbard discusses in lecture are on the quiz. Strongly recommend office hours. She is very willing to help and explains all topics thoroughly during office hours. Very possible to pass her class with a B or above

Undoubtedly the worst instructor at MU. Terrible Awfulthere really are no words to describe her. She completely turned me off biologyon of my favorite subjects prior to this ordeal. She is confused and confusing, boring and, above, all rude. STAY AWAY!

The lectures are poorly organized. She forgets what she said a few minutes earlier, she repeats and contradicts herself constantly, she gets tangled, and confused. Often we had no idea what she wants to say but nobody would dare say anything. She is rude and hostile. Choose another instructor or take the course at NOVA this summer.

She has not kept up with the new developments in the field of the last fifty years. As a result, many questions are left unanswered. The lectures are poorly organized; the instructor is often disoriented and confusing. Personally, she is extremely rude and often outright hostile. Do not take this class unless it is necessary, it is a real ordeal.

She's not that bad. She's old school and doesn't do ppts but she's always willing to help. GO TO THE WEEKLY STUDY SESSIONS! They'll boost your quiz grades. Show up to class and take good notes AND study them. Hubbard will always do her best to help. Tbh, if you struggle with this class, good luck with the program. It doesn't really get any easier.

This class was the reason I gave up my dream of being a nurse. I failed so hard that I never wanted to take that class again. Ever. Ever ever. And I'm not the only one, either. Pick another teacher if you value your mental health.

Hubbard is a lousy lecturer. I often wonder if she really knows what she is talking about. Her knowledge of biology dates from forty years ago; she does not seem to be aware of the new developments. Personally she is very rude and mean. Please avoid her.
