Ruby is a FANTASTIC teacher!! You will earn every grade, as she expects hard work. However, you will leave her classes well informed, and fluent in ASL if you do the work. She is VERY available for extra help and explanations.

Ruby is a terrible teacher! I use word "teacher" loosely. She only has a BS degree and the only reason she was hired at a college is because she is deaf and knows sign language. She is a gossip and a back stabber. Don't trust her with anything personal. A sign language degree is useless. Just ask those who graduated! DON'T MAJOR IN SLI!

Awesome teacher and helped me out tremendously! Very nice! She may look strict, but she's very kind and helpful. She is also very competive b/c I lost $5 to her for a bet that her and I made. She's a nice person acts like us and is very down to earth. I advise you to take her. She's AWESOME!!

Ruby is the best ASL teacher i have ever had in th program.I learned signs so fast and was able to remember them.I am proud to say that I am getting my money's worth in her class.The fact that she is deaf makes it even better, bc she knows whats correct.

Great!!! Can't say enough. Knows how to teach ASL-other instructors should take a hint.Learned more from her than I did from any of the other teachers. She is patient and helpful. Has the students best interest at heart!! Keep up the great work Ruby!!!:)

I have this class as an online class. Her tests don't require any thought or reading. Her assignments are rediculous. She is very nice I just think her teaching methods need to improve.
