Want a class where the professor has you educate yourself and spends more time reviewing the inner working of the ear and the nervous system than actual psychology? This is the class for you! Half of the class ended up signing a petition agreeing with how bad the class was to bring to the dean. She is most likely the worst prof. I will ever have.

Professor Bolz was a very sub-par professor. All of her assignments were online and you had to teach yourself everything. Class times were a waste of time. She would go off-topic constantly and I never learned anything directly from her. I learned everything from the book and the website.

I took her class last fall semester and her class is really easy to pass as long as you do your work and pay attention to the lectures youll pass. Her class was really interesting and informative and shes an amazing teacher to take for this course. Test are easy as long as you study and keep up with the class lectures youll pass

Professor Bolz was a delight, you get out of the class what you put into it. Weekly online "quizzes" are assigned based on textbook, so prepare to read or risk failing. Study guides are given for each exam. You can miss a few classes but not everything is in the textbook so the lectures are worth it. She was very understanding and knowledgable.

This class was very boring to me. She tends to lecture a lot and not have any activities, group work, or projects which I feel like would've definitely helped me and/or others learn the material better. Definitely had to teach myself the material before class otherwise I was super lost and even then was still struggling to understand the material.

Bolz lectures a lot in her class and does not expect you to be writing notes in her class. She wants you to write the notes beforehand. She repeats herself a lot. Take the notes beforehand and then listen to lecture.

The in class course is online. She lectures the day the online assignment is due. She doesn't want you to write down her slides or take pictures. You are supposed to know all the material before getting to class. You have to pay for access code and teach your self basically. She is very nice although personally didnt like this class.

Professor Bolz loves what she does and appreciates people who can think outside of the box. As long as you know how to thoroughly analyze, evaluate, and adequately explain your thoughts on any given topic, you'll pass. She is one of my favorite professors, and I couldn't recommend her enough.

This class was awesome. There are no tests and quizzes; projects and papers determine your grade. Participate and show that you care about the material, and you will do well. Professor Bolz cares more about the quality of work you turn in and prefers long papers over short ones because they work to explain your ideas better.

Sabine is very passionate with what she teaches. She obviously loves her lectures and course material. If you want an easy A in her class, just focus on the study guide she provides for each test and use the blue book for extra credit. Her class really isnt hard as long as you study. Nice teacher but should work on making class more engaging/fun.

Professor Bolz is a very nice lady. There was never any homework. A lot of the grade is extra credit. If you do any of it, it is almost impossible to get anything lower than an A. The lectures were a little bit long and the slides were out of order, but still easy to follow as long as you listen.

Only graded on 3 tests and the bluebook, which is extra credit. This class was extremely boring to me, which was upsetting because i loved psychology in high school and was expecting it to be even better at a college level. Professor was kind but don't get up to go to the bathroom. Read the book, you basically teach yourself in her class

Comment:
Worst psych teacher I've ever taken. I am with DSPS for my school and she invalidated my disability by telling me to make "holistic lifestyle choices." That is the last thing I would ever expect to hear from a psych teacher on mental disability. She seems to grade off of feelings towards the individual rather than their academic work.

I took Professor Bolz for Abnormal Psyc. She is a very sweet and caring professor. As far as the class, we had two exams and a final. The main project was the term paper which was due just prior to the final. It was sort of an ongoing assignment with different segments to submit. I would definitely recommend her.

Professor Bolz is one of the sweetest people I have ever met and she genuinely cares! Her lectures are very engaging, if you choose to pay attention. She gives extra credit and the more you show up to class, the more opportunities there will be. Her class isn't the easiest, but with dedication and studying, you'll get the grade you deserve.

some ppl in my class who are absent for 2 weeks got an A because they read. Your grade depend on the Blue Book and three exams. Her study guides are helpful, but VERY disorganized. The slides are hard to understand. Boring class. NOTE: if youre a person who always go to the bathroom in the middle of the class, sit at the back.

Only teacher at Solano for human sexuality, So you don't have a choice. She is very rude and her class was one of the most disorganize I ever have took. Do prepared to do a lot of reading and she does give pop quizzes. I felt grades weren't based off work, only if she likes you, lectures and power points are all over the place so be prepared!

So incredibly rude and has it out for student athletes. She once told me I was incompetent and that I should try and put more effort into her class like she knows I do on the softball field. Always had it out for me and other athletes. Scolded us if we missed class. Anytime I asked for help she left me feeling belittled and angry. Worst professor!

I personally love this Professor's drive to really teach you to where you understand the subject. Not many assignments besides the test and extra credit. If psychology is your major, she is an amazing instructor. Be aware, you need to really study your topics in order to do well on the exams.
