Professor is BEST at seeing her students in terms of who they are. U will grow as a student and as a person with this teacher. She touches ur life. She is real. Fair grader. On point. Very smart. Not a promising start, but I gave her a chance and she turned my opinion around. She's very dedicated and can only help you understand the curriculum more. A bit of a space case/too busy, so attendance was "mandatory."

Comment:

Best college professor I've taken yet. She tells it like it is; we aren't little kids anymore. Might lose her train of thought every now and then but snaps herself back on. It can be frustrating when she doesn't hand back papers, but other than that she's an excellent professor.

Comment:

Sandy is one of the best teachers I've ever had. She makes her classes interesting and fun, and she's very approachable. Not only did she turn me on to theatre, but she's helped me grow as a person. She does, however, swear like a sailor, so I wouldn't recommend her if you're easily offended by foul language.

Wonderful professor! She's more of a theatre professor, than an English professor, and will focus heavily on the drama portion of the syllabus. Don't take a class with her if you can't handle an up-front, in-your-face professor. She's generally on a first-name basis with many of her students, and can swear with the best of the Navy.

Disappointing class. Teacher is always late and doesn't hand back papers which is frustrating. Very crude and vulgar woman; doesn't belong teaching kids. A number of people copied directly from internet sources and received high grades which they didn't deserve. She was very insulting at times using degrating language which was disgusting!

Very kind and helpful professor who is quite insightful! Beware that she's more of a theater teacher and will put an emphasis on the drama aspect of intro to lit, but she is always pleasant to have in a class. She likes us to write lots of essays however.

Sandy is a great teacher. I was hesitant to take this class but I'm so glad I did. Sandy makes it fun, no book, no notes, all pretty much taught from a holistic approach. Sandy is very understanding too, as she says "Life Happens". Very down to earth. Glad I took this class.
