She knows her stuff. She gave easy going assignments but was very disorganzied. She lost my classmates work (luckly she saved her work). She doesn't like people to go against her or have a different of opinion. The final was a take home paper which was awesome!

Great professor! She has a passion for history and always dropping knowledge on students. She wants her students to critically think & chase their dreams. Exams are pretty easy. Take notes & ask questions. She likes students who are involved in the class. One of a kind attitude! (: She is big on respect.

Awesome teacher, she seems like she is yelling at you but she just wants to get you to think once start proving your point she is really good about it. I dont understand the really bad comments. The only ones that made her upset were the ones texting in class.

Ms. Flowers, at first, was pretty intimidating and stand-offish. Towards the end of the class, she warmed up. Very interesting woman with equally as interesting views. Great instructor, loves what she teaches.

All she did was yell.she never justified her grades she just gave you a grade and didnt even write in on the assignment.she is unorganized and you will pay the price.she always reminds us she is teaching 6 classes and is always angry about it. if she cant deal with the load she shouldnt teach that many classes. she shouldnt teach period.

I did not like her at all. She never reminded us when homework was due and she never asked for it. She was hard to understand and she made everyone in the class feel dumb. I dont even think she graded any of the things we turned in. She just handed out grades. I got a B in the class and I did nothing. Do not take her.

Doesn't go over any of the information in class. She makes you read it yourself, and then asks questions about it. If no one answers she'll just sit there waiting. When someone does answer she'll usually get angry because it's not the answer she wanted, even if the person is right. Do not take her!

Mrs.Flowes treats her students like they're in high school and is a terrible listener. She continuously cuts her students off. She's not someone you can relate to or connect with even on an educational level. I highly discourage anyone from taking her class and reccomend she teach high school freshman because she's on a power trip.

Professor Flowers is a very good teacher. I like the way she lectures, she doesn't give you all the information so you can research for more. You learn a lot in this class and especially you learn to debate and more importantly to use your brain! it is not an easy class, but if you are a good student you will like the challenges of her lectures.

prof. flowers only covered a little more than half of the course material, which is not surprising, because she enjoys her tangents. she loves the sound of her own voice. this was a really easy class, if you don't mind a preacher.oh and she hates cell phones!

Mrs. Flowers is okay. However, she tends to be afrocentric about things in a discrete manner. Also, she has favorites in her classes -which are mostly Africans. She preaches tolerance, however, does not follow what she preaches, likewise her class guidelines. She usually dislikes people who have prior historical knowledge or who do not agree w/ her

History 18 was hard ab initio, as the class progressed it got more and more lenient & tentative. Flowers is a great professor regarding History, however, she tends to play Devil's advocate at times - which is amusing & informative at times. Overall I did all the work and extra-credit which at the end I received an C+. p.ss. All in all she's fair.

I have this same instructor at Mt. San Jacinto College. She is a terrible instructor. She doesn't let you voice your own opinion, especially if it doesn't agree with hers. She is not helpful at all. She acts like a condesending witch. She doesn't follow her course outline either, we are currently 4 weeks behind. I do not recommend her to anyone.

preacher not a teacher.preaches tolerance and her own issues, but shoots u down as soon as u voice an opinion. confusing!! perfectionist that doesn't follow her own guidelines. you're like gum on the bottom of her shoe if you don't know anything about pol. issues. dramatic,cold, mean, and... is she on some kind of downers?? take someone else!!

Excellent History teacher! She makes you really think about the history of the world, and how it affects us today. She encourages questions, and discussions. If you're prepared to talk about the text reading or current world events, you will learn more than you ever imagined. This was a great class.
