Dr. Chesnut was one of my favorite professors I've had at Eastern! He is so willing to help his students in any way possible. If you show him that you care about your grade he will make sure you succeed! I would recommend him to anyone taking organic chemistry!!

He is terrible. He was completely unhelpful. He would not give assisstance when asked. He simply referred me to the study sessions which I had already been going to. I had to drop the class so that it wouldn't be the only class I had gotten less than a B in. I did much better with a different instructor.

Dr. Chesnut is a GREAT professor! His lectures are very clear and he is extremely helpful. He is very approachable. His tests are somewhat difficult, but fair. I don't know if he teaches this class anymore, but if you ever get the chance to take him, you should!

Very clear, good professor! Very helpful and a really nice guy. I learned more from Dr. Chestnut in the one course I had with him than any of my other chem classes. It's the only chem class I got an A in with no curve. That's got to mean something!
