Shannon is a fantastic lecturer - Once she explains a concept to you, I guarantee you'll understand. If you need someone to spoon feed you, she's not the right instructor for you, but if you're willing to work, go to all the seminars, pay attention and ask questions, you will do well in this class.

She's really nice..just go to class and pay attention. Its not her fault..stop complaining. If you do your work, you should be fine. She is very considerate when you need help, she is always there. Go for it...take her for MHR 405.

It's ironic how someone who teaches interpersonal skills is so weak with her own. I find her very unapproachable and she frequently has a 'why are you wasting my time?' look when you are participating in her class. If you deviate at all from the answer she wants she'll cut you off.

She is an overall nice old lady who relies heavily on the textbook which is good. participation is key, she is 75% clear on what she wants. the group-movie project is the biggest chunk. the midterm is honestly Aceable IF you study and pay attention in class. Overall 75% to her.I would say go for it!

For a Prof to teach a class in Interpersonal Skills, she doesn't seem to have any herself. Asking her questions in person is like that scene in Oliver when he asks for more food...You get more of a "why the hell are you talking to me" look. Classes are Boring. Tests are HARD. She's not very clear on her teachings. I do NOT recommend this professor.

It's useless coming to her classes. She's boring, unclear, and makes it difficult for you. Read the book or should I say understand the book. Her tests are hard!!!! She doesn't ask for definitions in her tests but rather gives a paragraph long case scenarios for multiple-choices and almost two pages for short answers. Avoid her!!!

I tell you, she is out of this world! So pointless going to her class, just read the textbook like its a bible! MASTER the textbook and u can avoid her... The class should have been fun but she made it real hard and boring. Multiple choice questions worth half a mark are like a paragraph long to read!and they are HARD too!! Avoid her if you can!!
