Comment:

One of the best teachers at Walters State! She always had a cheerful, inviting attitude every class period and always wanted her students to succeed. You will most likely make a good grade if you check your punctuation, grammar, and write a meaningful themed essay with good quotes.

I loved how funny and caring Mrs. Jacobs was I was out in her class by accident and Im glad I ended up staying. She made my last semester worth it!

Easily the best professor you will ever have. She's understanding, patient, and professional. I had two classes with her and looked forward to them more than I looked forward to going home after class. 100% would advise taking her classes, especially if you're interested in literature (also, her creative writing classes are the most fun I've had.)

Took her for Creative Writing and she was amazing. Really loves the subject and is really easy to work with. She is the definition of "Go with the flow" and is the professor high school teachers said didn't exist. I have heard she's the polar opposite in Comp and Lit classes though. But 10/10 would take creative writing again. She's amazing.

Best professor Ive ever had. Cares about and respects students greatly. Do the work and and read the weekly assignments and do the quizzes and youll be fine. She loves to help students and is a genuinely nice and laid back person. Absolutely hilarious. Filled with personality (unlike a lot of professors these days) 100% would take again.

Mrs. Jacobs is such an easy going person. She genuinely wants every student to pass and enjoy the class. She loves doing group discussions and never says "that's wrong". She gives stickers and carries a stuffed lobster around with her. She is like a student herself. I could not recommend her enough.

Mrs. Jacobs is a wonderful teacher!! I did not learn a lot from her but english is kind of my strong subject so i was already well taught. She is hilarious in class and does very good at keeping everyone entertained! She is very helpful and will do anything to see you succeed. grades very hard though.

Nice lady and a good teacher. I'll admit that the coursework was way easier than I felt was necessary for college level, but I'm not going to complain too much. If you are someone who struggles with English PLEASE take Miss Jacobs. She will help you, and make sure that you understand the material. She won't let you fail if you ask for help.

If you want to pass this class just do the work and really try. she will help you if need be all you have to do is ask. The only bad thing is she does take a while to get your grades back expect to wait 2 week after you turn it in and she doesn't give back much feedback. She goes over quizzes in class "teaches to the test" for you to pass them.

Comment:

Ms. Jacobs is one of my favorite teachers that I've had at WSCC. She's always so happy, and such a nice person. She also has everyone schedule conferences after every paper is turned in, and you meet in her office, and she personally sits with you one on one and goes over your papers with you. Her classes are very easy to pass. I recommend her.

Excellent teacher!! She explains everything you need to know for her essays and does plenty of activities to make sure you understand them. As long as you listen and pay attention to what she is saying you will do excellent in her class. Taking her for Comp 2 as well!!
