Comment:

Worst professor I've ever had at Chapman. I took this class for a GE credit and totally not worth it. She is very degrading and disrespectful towards students. There were multiple times during the semester she said something extremely out of line towards a student. I would not recommend her unless it's your very last option for a class.

Comment:

McNenny was the worst professor/teacher I've had. She has communication issues, pushes her own agenda and is very open about it, is extremely patronizing, and she doesn't understand what she's talking about or anything to do with technology. Lots of awful group projects. However, super easy as long as you suck up to her and talk a lot in class.

Professor McNenny is the worst Professor I've ever had at Chapman. She is hostile and demeaning towards her students while playing favorites. There is also a crazy amount of busy work with 2-3 assignments every week. She discriminates against certain groups of people and if you do not agree with her opinion, she will call you out in front of class.

Worst teacher I've had at Chapman. Way too many papers and presentations throughout the semester. Has definite favorites in the class and is rude to the ones she does not like or agree with. The class is called Valuing Differences but she does not value anyone elses differences.

This professor docked points on my final presentation because I was wearing shorts and it "detracted from the presentation". She was not the most engaging professor and I wish she was more organized.

I had McNenny for Reading the Rhetoric of Pop Culture. This course was more like a high school class, but to be fair, it is an FFC. Be prepared to do a lot of small group presentations and small essays. Overall, though, not that hard of a class.

Literally the single worst professor I have ever taken. She's absolutely useless, incredibly rude, EXTREMELY childish. The class is the least interesting thing I have ever taken, and it's an FFC so it's not a class pertaining to our major or or GEs and is not supposed to take up all our time, yet it does. I hated her, plain and simple.

Professor Mc Nenny was one of the best professors that I have ever had. She gives a lot of freedom in assignments which may be interpreted as not being clear but she always has the student's interest at heart. She is very friendly and nice and cares about actually getting to know you. If you do your work and the online readings you will make an A.

Quite possibly the worst professor I've had at Chapman. She is extremely rude and condescending. Only assigns busy work which keeps you doing her class work all of the time. Doesn't listen to students and always thinks she is right.

She is such an awful professor. Her class is full of unnecessary homework assignments. Be prepared to have to read 4 different books, watch several movies (outside of class), write an essay every week, and have 4 different presentations all on Global Warming. She presents opinions as fact and . quite frankly, she is an idiot. AVOID HER IF YOU CAN!!

One word: Horrible. In class she is basically an idiot, when ppl make comments she just stares and says "uh huh ya...". Not the most intelligent woman on the plant and speaking of the planet the "Imagining Utopia" FFC class turned into an environmentalist feminist propaganda class. Everyone was forced to do their final project on global warming.

Might as well have been an English class. A lot of reading and busy work. Big focus on environmental issues gets pretty old. With papers she provides good feedback so you know what to improve before you turn it in. She can be all over the place at times.

She is a horrible teacher. She wants people to participate in class, but she will always cut you off or just stare at you like if you've just said the stupidest thing in the world. Conferences with her are useless. She'll tell you how wonderful your paper is and make you feel very good but she'll hand back your paper with a big fat C or F. Beware!

She is possibly the worst english teacher I have ever had. She will chastize you for thinking anything but her own opinion, and criticizes you based on assumptions that just simply are not true. Call her on her bad decisions and dont give up! Shes a horrible teacher and should not be teaching!

A horrible woman and a joke of a teacher. Patronizing and ridiculous, she should not be permitted to teach. She's best locked in a room with a book, but has no idea how to communicate with students. Also, her idea of education is greatly skewed--you will learn NOTHING from her!

Comment:

A very extreme environmentalist and feminist. She is set in her own ways and seeks to brainwash students into thinking like her. I had her for both english and FFC. She is good about letting you rewrite your papers, but there are quite a few and she chooses the boring topics. Boring and hard to read books in FFC. Overall, avoid McNenny if you can.

Really wierd professor. Seems to have control issues. She is very close minded when it comes to any opinions that differ from her own. She definately picks favorites, so get on her good side and you are guaranteed a good grade. She is helpful and will tell you exactly what she wants for papers and projects if you visit her during office hours.

She is so mean! She dismisses any opinions that are different from her own as invalid. She gets annoyed when students ask her questions or to clarify assignments. She's such an airhead as well. She never seems like she's all there.
