I had her for two courses this semester.Her roman class was amazing.Her Islamic class bored the hell out of me and was much harder than her roman.She is a decent grader but she will also let you hand stuff in late for the most part.I did not like the ta for her Islamic class.she is a much harder grader than goodarzi is.

Keenly interested in her topic. Communicates to students but doesn't always get through if the subject isn't your forte. Odd grading policy. Advantageous to take this class if you have copious prior knowledge/understanding of the subject and aren't completely oblivious to it.

Very nice woman. Really relaxed. if you go to her office hours she will gladly listen and help. very fun topic. roman had weekly homework assignments, a paper, a midterm and a final. some extra credit was thrown our ways also.

She is a terrible teacher. She is all over the place with her lecture content. She does not make substantial connections between the topics she teaches. She posts the quiz study guides the day before the quizzes which leaves no time to memorize them. She shoots down any artistic interpretation that strays from her own. The class is pointless.

Would've enjoyed the interesting material class much more had her testing not been so ridiculous. Quizzes were terrible- she constantly used different slides on them instead of the ones shown in class. She had each of us to write a paper on an obscure object we could only view on a website. I couldn't find any books on my assigned piece. Terrible.

I don't even like mesopotamia and I liked this class. It was pretty hard (slide quizes once a week), but she's fair. She wants everyone to actually learn, not just remember temporarily.

Her lectures are ok, yet her constant computer problems are ridiculous. In addition, she posts the quiz slides the night before she tests, she uses random slides on her quizzes that weren't on the list the class crammed into their minds the previous night and is extremely forgetful.

She's new to being a teacher, so her lectures are wierd since her computer never works. But she seems to know her stuff. Probably the only hot professor Ive had in college though.
