Baig was... interesting, to say the least. I never really knew what was going on, his handwriting was impossible to read & he's difficult to understand, so I ended up teaching myself everything from the internet. He lets you use notes on quizzes & tests which helps. Lots of My Math Lab homework to do, don't wait too late. Attendance not mandatory.

Ask for help and he will help you, if you don't, he won't be so clear. Be friendly with him, he likes that. Raise your hand, get into it, pay attention! It really isn't that hard, he will make sure you do well on his exams (there are three of them).

Easy if you pay attention, make sure you stey up to date in mymathlab though (16% of your final grade comes from this. Lets you use cheat sheets on the tests, and if you get a high grade on the final he will drop any other bad tests grades. approxiately 3 tests per semester. This was the first class i took him for, now i'm in calculus!

Wow so I really hate math, and when I took this class before, I dropped it because I was failing terribly. I took this class again in the Summer with Baig, and he's an amazing teacher. He writes good notes, and is very helpful. Also very friendly, funny, just an all around nice guy. I really enjoyed having him! :)

Really genuine guy. He is a good teacher, but you must also be a good student to succeed in his class. Ask if you need help, as he won't "hold your hand" through it all. Funny as hell too!

Great professor, he helps out when you need it & makes sure he goes over the material in depth so everyone can learn it. Takes attendance randomly, so its best to just show up to class. Rarely cancels & isn't a strict professor. Mymathlab must be done by the end of semester b/c it is part of final grade. Overall excellent & I would recommend him.

Very hard to comprehend what he is saying, regardless of his indian accent. He really tries to help students personally and it very funny but it's super difficult to understand things mathematically. I had to teach myself A LOT on my own/with tutors etc.

He's a really good guy. The effort to answer your question is always there, but he never actually answers your question. I've skipped about 6 times and I will still finish with an A. Mathlabs not mandatory, but it's a whole letter-grade worth of extra credit. If you aren't just a nominal student, take Baig if Shuman is not available.

Baig is HILARIOUS. his indian accent is so funny and the things he says come off as funny even when not meant to be. Tests are easy, he lets you bring a full page of cheat sheet material. Also lets students determine mymathlab due dates. Not easy to understand but is easy enough for math!! take BAIG!!!

he is a horrible teacher. he can barely speak any english. most times when you do have a question about something the answer he gives you has nothing to do with your question. Going to class is basically useless because you could find out the same information by reading the text book. Do NOT take him !!!

Seriously hilarious .. always has funny metaphors and jokes every day .. a decent teacher, i learned some stuff, but had to teach myself a lot too.. easy A, only 3 tests all semester, and his study guides are basically the tests, including midterm and final

I HATED him. He picks favorites and isn't very helpful. He gets confused and then the class gets confused. He is hard to understand, and although people think its funny, he doesn't take enough time on the work and moves along even if some people still don't understand. If you have a hard time with math, take someone else.

Baig always shows up to class. Usually has some pretty pointless jokes n laughs at himeself. We have 3 test and are able to use a cheat sheet. His test are very much like his practice test. HW is not graded, but will help you learn. And he usually waits til the last 5 mins of class to go ovr new material n expects you to know it.
