Prof. Snyder was my hardest Professor. He is a great person and if you are struggling by all means go talk to him. He is easier to understand in office hours. His teaching style confused me and I didn't understand what he was wanting. Be prepaerd for strange questions. Know the material. Haven't taken philosophy before? Take someone else.

Well-intentioned & a nice guy, but stuck in a bad teaching style. Lectures are confusing & hard to follow: he expects to grasp arguments and make connections that he presents in a *very* vague way. It's also very hard to tell whether he's switching to a new topic or continuing an old one. Not recommended unless you already know the material well.

So incredibly helpful! I usually don't like Philosophy, but I loved taking Human Nature with him at Christendom. At the beginning of each class he would pass out a question sheet for us to write down any questions or feedback that we had.At the following class, Snyder would give of back a typed and printed sheet with answers to our questions
