Truly the best teacher I've ever had. He is incredibly knowledgable and passionate about what he teaches, witty and energetic, and very pleasant to be around. I am very thankful and glad to be in his chorus. If you ever have an opportunity to have him as a teacher, do not pass it up.

Dr. Thomas is great. He's so helpful and while sometimes you think he woke up on the wrong side of the bed, other times he'll joke around with you. He makes goofy innocent jokes in class. Very smart. Harvard and Yale grad- but very humble about it. Great man, always willing to help and talk.

Very nice man, extremely helpful. Does not pick favorites like most choral directors. Takes time to make sure everyone understands, and is always available to students in need of extra help. Very intelligent and a wonderful teacher.

This man is the most amazing choral director I have ever had. He is kind and helpful to his students and almost always available outside the classroom. If you like to sing, I highly recommend taking chorus.

Contrary to what the last post said, this class is not just easy music- to some it seems easy, but for the general population, it's difficult. Don't take the class for an easy credit- there's singing tests, and he only allows 1 absence... he can be annoying sometimes, but can also geniunely be a nice guy.

Let's put it this way - if you like to sing easy music, then this is the class for you. If you are advanced in any way shape or form - DON'T TAKE THIS CLASS. You will be bored out of your mind. I hated it. But we did get to perform with Kenny Rogers!
