Comment:

Class is pretty easy. Although it is mandatory and you have assigned seating it is pretty easy. The assignments are pretty easy. Textbook is not necessary except to help with the study guides although they are kind of confusing. If you are working on other things in class (which I recommend) watch out for her TA's they will come and yell at you.

Terrible. The only thing that keeps you going to class is the half credit you receive for going. Her lectures are unorganized and she babbles on about stuff not even relatable to the subject material. Don't bother buying the textbook. She gives you all the questions for the exam before hand.

Comment:

Really boring and odd teacher. You have to go to class because its mandatory. Assignments consists of two page essays that are unbelievably easy and only take an hour. If you do not get full credit for all of these assignments you should not be in college. Tests require some work but the study guide is an exact copy of the test questions.

This class is quite easy with her and she does make it easy. However she does give you a seating chart and class is mandatory. She also stops talking whenever she thinks somebody is talking even when people are not. This class as I said is easy though so I would just stick it out.

Textbook is biased, simplified, and dull however you need it to study for exams. Park does the best she can to teach a boring class. A lot of interestig knowledge. Class is important, since stuff in her powerpoints are often covered in exams. Lots of extra credit. There is no final, just three exams and five easy essays.

Easy class, but it is difficult to pay attention. skim through textbook when chapters are assigned. if you go over the study guides the night before the test for a few hours, you should get at least a "B" on the test. if you need to take this class, don't put up a fuss, go into it with a good attitude.

most of the ratings are unfair! yes, it is a little hard to understand, but shes good. her grading scale is AMAZINGLY EASY! its out of 100 points and she gave 20 points extra credit! i went to the final needing to answer 1 question right to get an A!!!! shes asks questions, but no1 responds. so the ones that do, get extra points! TAKE THE CLASS!

While often times she is hard to understand, Mrs. Park is in fact a good teacher. She knows what she is speaking about, and is very willing to share this information with the class. Her grading scale for TCOM103 shows that is is not trying to fail anyone...and she really does have an interest in helping her students learn. Participate in this class

Professor Park isn't covering hard CONTENT, but, as so many people have said, she can be hard to UNDERSTAND. My class is a big lecture, and she does waste a lot of time asking the class questions, only to recieve blank stares in response. Pretty much any TCOM major will have her though, so I'd advise you to just stick it out.
