Professor Fisher is one of the kindest and understanding teachers I have ever had the pleasure to end up in class with. She is very intuitive, and she trails off mid sentence. She is fun, she always has interesting things to say, she helped me get published in the New York Times. She never takes attendance, and the papers are easy.

Overall shes really easy, doesnt collect any homework assignments. Pretty much always lecture, kind of bipolar but its not that bad. Loses essays and doesnt really tell you your grade. She's kind and very understanding. Over all id say definetly take the class its an easy grade.

Pretty cool teacher. Talk about NY times all the time. Not alot of work overal. didn;t have a mid term or final. Wrote about 1 paper due every class. Talks majority of class. usually late to class almost all the time. very understanding of peoples problems, very nice older lady. some class discussions. was a good class, easy...very easy!!!

She's pretty cool. She really likes to talk but she is a very nice person. She grades easy and is forgiving to mistakes thank goodness! Professor Fisher really stepped outside the box and didn't bore us to tears with Shakespeare but instead made us love it! She really didn't respond to email and was very forgetful.

Professor Fisher was probably one of the most intuitive English professors I have ever had. Although she assigns a significant amount of papers, they all pay off in the end. She is in sync with current political and economic events. The feedback she gives is absolutely useful. I highly recommend Professor Fisher 110%

Prof. Fisher is an incredible professor. She has a passion for writing and gets her students involved. talks about current issues in class and loves the NY Times columnists. very helpful and understanding. Not a hard grader. Just do all the writing assignments and participate, and you will pass with a good grade. Got an A.

Prof Fisher is an amazing teacher. She reignited my love of writing. She is lively for an older person and makes writing effective prose more than writing. She fuses journalism, politics and the science of writing all in one class. Extremely helpful, kind and very easy going, just don't take advantage. Will take any of her courses, she's great.

AMAZING PROFESSOR. very nice, wants everyone to do well, doesn't try to screw you over by making assignments hard. gets off topic a little, but its well worth it. i deffinitly recomend taking her, she's the reason im changing my major to english!

If you have the opportunity to take her, do it! She is so nice and helpful and wants the best from her students. I would take her again if I could! no tests, just papers. She is late a lot and cancels class often.
