Honestly I don't like sociology in general and this professor reaffirmed my thinking. I hated him, he was very sloppy with his grades and not helpful at all. He does give extra credit but to do well on the test you must read all the chapters in detail and know useless stats. I would recommend as long as you don't have strong opinions or beliefs.

Easy material, great lecturer. Gives lots of examples and extra credit for the tests! Test has a large portion of T/F that are tricky, but review the material and reading and you'll be ok. Loved him, great guy.

He's a teacher, not a professor but he beats the horse dead with twenty examples of everything. as long as you go the day before the test you'll be fine, he goes through it and says what's on it. easy class!

This professor is awesome! He is so funny and easy going. You watch a lot of movies and get extra credit for the questions he gives at the end of them. If you go to class and pay attention a good grade will be easy.

This class was interesting and easy. Dr. Faulkner doesn't have an attendance policy, but if you show up and there is a video you often get extra credit points on your tests. If you study the notes and the book, the tests are easy. Only 4 tests..thats all your grades. EASY A

Excellent professor. There's no attendance policy but he offers several extra credit opportunities after he shows videos so it's definitely helpful to attend. He's very good at explaining things and tells you exactly what you need to know for the exam. READ THE BOOK! It's an easy, interesting read and you will DEFINITELY notice higher test scores!

Took him for senior project, easy A. Very laid-back, easygoing, likeable guy. Goes out of his way to help the class. Good lecturer too. Shows lots of videos and gives quizzes afterwards. If you are a SOC major/minor, I would highly recommend taking Dr. Faulkner for as many classes as you possibly can.

He is a pretty easy teacher. His true/false on tets are kind of tricky, but over all a good class. Lots of movies, which are pretty interesting. He means well even though he can get boring. Id say its an easy B.

Great guy. Really makes you want to come to class and learn. Not too much work to do outside of class, just read text. He tells you EXACTLY whats going to be on the exam. Gives bonus points on test for no reason. Genually wants students to do well.

He's really fun to listen to because he fluctuates his voice a lot. There is a lot of extra credit and movies. He doesn't take attendance. Tests can be kinda hard-you have to read the book and you have to study. He usually let's you out a bit early to. Really nice guy... like a dad haha
