Comment:

Dr. M-J is a great instructor! She provides detailed instructions and feedback, gives students plenty of time to complete assignments, and is very encouraging! At times, her expectations may be difficult to understand but she is happy to explain if you only ask! I'm hoping she will be teaching additional courses in the EDPR program! Love her!

Comment:

The assignments aren't very balanced, you'll have a LOT due right at the end so stay caught up. The grading seemed subjective at times, but the material isn't very difficult (I was a Psych undergrad major, so nothing new). If you're good at independent learning and you have basic psych knowledge you'll do fine, but a lot of people had complaints.

Do not take this professor. She is unclear and unprofessional. She makes tons of assignments and busy work. Very picky grader and critical. Didn't learn a thing other than to never take her again. I am a 4.0 student and have never had as bad a class as this.

Please don't take this teacher. The class I'm taking is online, so it might be better in class. She seemed nice at first, but grades very hard and assigns a lot of work. Content is very informative, but her grading is very picky. I have a C so far, this is my first C in 2 years. I love the content, but wish another instructor was teaching it.

Dr. Magun-Jackson changed this class from in-person to online. There were a phenomenal number of assignments, many of them time-consuming. She never explained incorrect exam answers because she reuses her exams, therefore you can't learn from your mistakes. She assigned more work than she could manage and gave the entire class an incomplete, so th

She is a God-send, excellent instructor very clear, class discussions are always good, she is eager to see each student succeed, I wish I could take her for every course throughout my graduate experience.
