My goodness, her class is absolutely unbearable. I'll admit that she gives her students many chances to improve their grades, but it is no use if you don't have the slightest idea as to what it is going on. Her handwriting is atrocious so you cannot understand what is on the board

The worst professor I have ever had and I'm a senior. Doesn't care about teaching. Slow, unclear, unorganized, boring as hell. Doesn't upload slides on bb and the book is wordy &depressing so studying on your own is horrible. I'm not one to whine about profs. I'm an honors student with a very high GPA but she is the worst. GPA destroyer. STAY AWAY

Homework is mystatlab so its junk to begin with. Women can not teach and is often a little rude at times. Her tests are easy but she can't grade for her life. She will often make stupid mistakes when grading which could cost a student 20 points at times. She doesn't explain why she took away points so have fun trying to figure out all her flaws.

Professor Stein is just indescribably terrible... She destroyed my 4.0 GPA with a C+ and I worked my *** off in this class. I learned nothing. There's daily long hw that she randomly collects She uses a bell curve for grading meaning only the top 20% of students gets A's! I advise you to stay FAR FAR AWAY! Take any other stats teacher besides her.

She's a nice lady but you won't learn much in her class. Gives hw for every single class. Her exams are actually really easy but her ridiculous grading is not. She takes off a chunk load of pts for some small errors. You have to either teach yourself the material or go to a tutor. She gave a take-home final this semester but it was sick hard.

There are three exams; each one covers about three topics. The final is not cumulative. She does not cover material in depth; you will have to teach yourself. However, the homework is very helpful in doing that. She is NOT a lenient grader and takes off points on exams for minor (but important) things. There are also many chances for extra credit.

okay, hw yes she randomly collects and it HELPS a lot.. she barely teaches.. maybe 2 topics she went in depth.. lenient grader? I THINK NOT! i thought i got above a 95 and DEF didnt get that b/c of things i thought were common sense.. exams are like hw but i dont agree with every1 that makes her seem amazing, you just have to be careful i guess

What a sweetheart! She is always ready to listen to you, and is VERY understanding of personal circumstances. Her exams are EXACTLY like the homework, which is mandatory- she does collect almost every assignment. She was a pleasure to be around. Highly recommended.

VERY GOOD PROFESSOR, HAS 3 EXAMS AND IS VERY LENIENT GRADER..HW AND ANTENDANCE IS MANDATORY...EXPLAINS EVERYTHING , GIVES SAMPLE QUESTIONS FOR THE EXAM AND THE EXAMS ARE REALLY EASY IF you do the homework. TAke her!!! youll definately get an A!

Study by yourself because she does not teach, but only goes over the homework questions. If you do mistake in your homework which you need to first teach yourself,she will reduce your grade. Her final exam wasn't takehome, so don't get fooled by the other comments the way I did. If you have a choice do not take her.

u need to read the book to understand the material because she doesnt teach. she gives hw and u have to do it by urself and then she goes over it. sta is a pretty subject to understand i got a good grade. 3 tests 20% each, allowed to bring in a page of notes. very easy but doesnt teach

awwww...QQ for those who think shes hard. Shes actually quite lenient if u talk to her bout ur "difficulty", even though this is pretty simple stuff. If u actually do the hw (or pay attention when she goes over it), the tests r not a problem. I never studied for the exams, final was a take-home.

Love her! listen to me.. I am an average student, and I am doing well in her class, she's very nice I got a 92 on the first test. 2 tests(you can use a page of notes) and a final. Highly recommend!
