FYI he sits on the CRTO. The guy is teaching here because he's bored. He doesn't have to be in a college teaching some first years about terminology and infection control. The man knows his stuff. Would be nice if he was a bit more engaging.

Comment:

The lectures notes contain all the necessary notes to pass but you must listen and understand them. Has a high level of knowledge for respiratory therapy. Like how he compares the notes to what you will see in the field. Seems stern at first but really cares about the student.

He just doesn't stick to the material, confusing everyone with stuff they don't need to know. Then he writes equations wrong and still expects you to get the answer. He's all over the place. Very hard to teach yourself this material but you have to.

Comment:

Cary is extremely smart and an extremely hard teacher. Pay attention to his spiels and participate and you'll learn a lot. Everything he teaches is in the notes if you look hard enough I guarantee it. He can be socially awkward and some people don't like him and think he doesn't explain well but if you really want to be an RT, you'll work for it.

Cary thows complex theories and formulas at his students and doesn't like to explain them. He gets mad and insulted if you ask him for help understanding and simply instucts you to look in the textbook. His midterms are made up of material that is mentioned only briefly in your notes or in passing during class. He enjoys failing people out of RT.

He is an amazing professor. He teaches very well. He keeps all students at the same level, and no favoritism! He'll like you, if you like him. He expects best out of every student. But who doesn't have their downfall?! I like him as a professor!
