Very disorganized. She's good when you come to her with specific questions, but the lectures are all over the place. Wants to make everyone feel equal and therefore does not tell people when their films flat out suck. Nice person, though, and easy grader.

i loved sylvia so much that i am taking another class with her this semester. she's very nice and understanding. almost all the work is done in class in groups, which makes it easy and fun. the outside projects are also fun and a little hard, but i found them to be very rewarding.

She is so nice and is a great director but has no idea how to teach! IT was her first semester though so she might get the hang of it by the second. The whole time I felt disorganized and as if I had no clue what was going on and how to do the work.

I liked her at first, and then I realized she was teaching us nothing! She's really disorganized with the lectures, and it seems like she has no idea what to teach us. And she talks about her kids all the freakin time! I enjoyed the class, but not her.

She's a nice enough lady, but her class is really stressful and time consuming. She gave no time to do project 1, and then a month and a half for the next project. She has crazy afro hair too! I wouldn't take this class but I had to for my major.
