Great professor, understanding, and very nice. Great sense of humor. Made philosophy very easy. If you attend class, read, take notes you will be fine. All the homework is based on the reading. Likes lots of writing. Allowed me to express myself and thoughts. He knows it's a complicated subject so participation is very limited so he'll help you.

A funny, interesting, and wise professor. A lot of practices in the class. He will secretly do the attendence after the class so be ware of that. He is that kind of professor to chat with after the class. Really helpful and respective. It's not hard to get an A for his class if you good at logic.

He is one of the more encouraging professors I've had. The homework is straight to the point, but I recommend writing alot, reference reputable sources, & PHILOSOPHIZE; write honestly, & include personal opinions, and arguments. The tests aren't incredibly difficult, he simply wants to see u engage in class, consider and consider the material.

Dr. Faulders is one of a kind. As long as you show care for the class and his work, he will make the class fly by for you and shows interest in your work. IF you are planning on taking PHIL 111, dont play yourself with the ratings of Mark Mcintire.. he is the worst at SBCC. Take this gentleman..

Professor Faulders was one of the best teachers I've ever had. He is super caring, personable, and hilarious inside the classroom. All you need to do to get an A in the class is put extra effort into your homework and show that you are hard-working. He likes seeing effort over anything else and you will be rewarded consequentially.

Great teacher! Open to discussion, challenges students to think deeply, and work hard for well deserved grades. One of my all time favorites! Strong and opinionated, but well worth the effort that leads you to look into the lessons and apply them to your own beliefs.

Comment:
Faulders is one of the most biased teachers I have ever come across, he essentially teaches that all other religions are bogus except for Christianity. HOWEVER, he allows open discussions, leading to one of the most thought provoking classes I've ever had. Take this class if you're a passionate atheist who likes to debate, it's very good practice.

Dr. Faulders is, hands down, the best teacher I have ever had. He inspired me to work hard and value my thoughts and ideas. I loved the way he interacted with each of his students and wanted to know their thoughts and opinions. His feedback was always constructive and he really wanted his students to succeed.

Great professor, Mr. Faulders is an inspirational teacher that's goal is more inline with helping you to be a good person than simply to teach you the course, which he is good a teaching as well although it's mostly up to you to learn anything in detail about the specific religions. Do the homework and you'll get an A no problem.

Really chill teacher. The way he teaches is weird, though, like he jumps around random parts of the book and then summarizes it all strangely. Just pay attention and read the books. The discussions can branch way off topic so the class is always interesting and funny. Overall awesome teacher, helpful, funny, smart, and kind.

Dr. Faulders will remember all his students̢۪ names by the 3rd week, respond to every email they send him, and genuinely care about them. However, the appropriate name for his class is Catholic Studies. I enjoyed his warm and fun personality, but would have learned more about world religions if I had stayed at home reading Huston Smith.

I gave Dr. Faulders this grade because he had no respect to other opinions that challenge his believes. He spends great part of the class trying to convert you into Catholicism. He is a gnarly republican which you should pretend to be to pass.

Don't expect to get an A in this class unless you want to work hard for it; however, it's quite easy to maintain a B. He's definitely biased in favor of Christianity, but other than that, he's a great teacher!

Dr Faulders is very funny and very easy if you need to go home early or go to class late please just let him know and he should be fine with that. If you need to take this class to P/NP just show up to class everyday then you will pass easy, no homework or test at all. I m in the middle of the course now so I don't know my grade yet.

Real easy grade but EXTREMELY biased, and for some reason he likes to make up lies as he speak to make a point or convince people of his beliefs. Class = Praise Christianity, make fun of the rest. Except for Islam which you are taught to hate. He asked the first class if anyone were Jewish or Muslim. None were and after that all hell broke loose!
