Now hold on! I am an accounting major and I NEVER had problems with it in high school, but I don't know if I just fuzzed out or what? I never had to cram so much reading and book work all in such a short period of time. He's respectable in some areas but a bear in others. Get ready to read, work, and hopefully learn.

Ok listen up if you take this class be prepared to work it as like a full time job. You have no social life when taking it online or in class. Good luck passing the class if you fall behind what so ever. Most likely you will have to retake it at least once if you have him for your first time.

Do not take his accelerated course if you enjoy having any free time whatsoever. He gives a chapter of work (a ppt lecture with roughly 70 slides that are interactive) and 3 separate home work assignments due every 3 days. Not to mention you only have a 48 hour window for exams that are typically smack in the middle of the week. Completely ridic.

Comment:

He expects you to watch the video presentations as you go, so you'll be constantly lost if you're not keeping up. Ask questions, he'll slow down accordingly for the class, will keep skipping ahead if everyone seems alright. Attendance isn't necessary if you can keep up with just the online material, but would be good to show up to the first few.

Comment:

Accounting was really tough for me but this professor is not test heavy. He gives more points toward the homework and interactive activities. So, if you do all of your homework and activities you will be sure to pass even if you do not have the best test scores. He is very responsive to emails. Very professional. Great teacher.

The worst class I have ever taken. I am trying to be fair by saying he is nice however he is so unorganized and his lectures are all over the place it makes an already dull and difficult subject agony. I am not a finance major so this class is a struggle. No consistency in study materials pretty much leaves you in the dark when taking tests.

Very unclear as to how he took attendance as while the sign in sheet and his syllabus stated he did take attendance he claimed in class that he only looked into how your doing on online work and would only drop you for falling too far behind. He reads off the same text as your online presentation so there is little to no point in attending class.

Not necessarily a difficult subject but no feedback from professor and very unclear on expectations. I usually do not recommend not to take a professor but I would not take him again. I went very heavy with 6 classes, including calculus. Received 5 A's and one C. Professor seems intrigued by making class very difficult without helping students.

Its not an easy subject in itself, but this prof doesn't make it any easier. Extremely tough grader and anytime you ask a question, he either responds with a one word answer or just seems completely annoyed. I took the class online, and am normally an A student, take a different prof!!

Wow I did not expect this class tp be so tough. Prof is funny, uses relatable examples but kind of jumbles around the lectures. Expect so much hw, you won't have social life. You have the take home quizzes (fairly simple), online hw (LONGinteractive pres w quizzes throughout, 3 sets of question types, and then the 2 hour exam after ea. couple chs)

DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS. 34 of the class to begin with dropped the class and now there's about 8 of us remaining. No one in the class has an A, and I'm barely making it through with a low B. Even though the tests are online and you can take it at home, they're still really tough. Don't expect to make an A or maybe even a B in this class.

Took this class online along with two other classes. This class needs to be priority if you take it online with this professor. Tough tests and spreadsheet assignments that don't have clear directions. Each time I emailed him a question he would respond with quotes from the syllabus. It is very tough to learn things when you don't get answers..

I'm an A student, have been all of my life and passed this class with a C. VERY tough grader! Not clear with what is expected. Incredibly particular with assignment formatting but does not explain how to set them up. If you have ANY questions regarding the SS assignments, ask and be OVERLY SPECIFIC with your question. This class was a full time job

Going to class was not helpful, the lectures and homework don't help with the tests. It's passable, but a lot of work with not a lot of reward. He asks a lot of questions and asks if there are questions, but doesn't just cover the material as if we didn't know it. Also, his questions on his assignments can be unnecessarily confusing.

Believe me. Don't take this class. It's better to read the book and researching on Google than going to class and spend time with him. I know Accounting is not easy, but I don't think he helps you with his way of teaching. Handout and pop quiz by his handwriting. OMG, it's so messy and hard to figure out. WORST CLASS EVER!
