She grades tough but that makes you succeed in real life. shes easy to talk to and cares for all of her students not just ASCE ones. If you dont like her youre probably doing bad bc you dont study or listen. she does a lot for her students and the department

Though she has a lot of work to do in her classes, she is the only reason I stayed in the Civil department at FSU. She truly loves her students and would do anything to help them succeed. She may talk fast but all you have to do is ask her to repeat something or slow down and she will. Would have taken her for all my Civil classes is possible.

anyone who doesn't think she plays favortism's and isn't distracted by ASCE is evidently someone who has their head shoved up her a?! if you take her make sure you are active in ASCE and your life will be a whole lot easier she is a disgrace to the university and engineers.

HAHAHA... Yeah I get good grades in her class too and she grades fair. But trust me she has pets that do things for her and the ASCE club and they make better grades. Seen those same students not have to take the final cause they had ASCE stuff to do and they did not have an "A".

Hey, i consider myself one of her pets and i never got an A in one of her courses. I worked hard for my B and also did ASCE functions all the freakin time...quit-yer-****in and study and you'll be fine.

That hit that nail on the head about having pets and getting an "A" when you are a pet and still fail her tests. That is the biggest complaint I have with her. Great lady but her pets always pull an "A" in the class no matter how bad they do.

Hard HELL YEAH, but if you go to class do your homework YOURSELF you will have no toruble passing this class. She is more than approachable if you need help. Totally backs the students,has a few "pets"its obvious who they are when they fail a test or two and still get an A in the class...yeah ok!?

Oh ASCE is a major distraction for her. A person was excused from a retake test to work on ASCE stuff plus that same person was excused from the final with a B cause they was doing stuff for her. I got a good grade too but it is still BS.

Granted, she is very difficult, but come on. I am not THAT smart and find that if you attend class and pay attention, a B is not out of reach. She is by far the best teacher in the department and the ASCE club in no way detracts from her classes.

Talk about demanding. Last week of class and we had 4 weeks of stuff to cover and she tried to do it all. Way too much work in this course, so much work you can't learn anything. Knows her DIRT but can't teach for sh_t.

Needs attitude adjustment. She is the greatest so she thinks. 3/4 the class fails test and she yells at them. Hmm seems to me maybe the most of the class failed is because you can't teach. Worry more about the classes and less about ASCE student club
