Dr Hench ia awesome. He is very knowledegable. I enjoyed his physics lessons. He is hands on. Got excellent grades. Transferedd to Drexel University for Mechanical Engineering. Graduated from Drexel in 2010 with a BS/MS in Mechanical Engineering. I am currently employed with Chemours Chambers Works in New Jersey as a Senior Technology Engineer.

Dr. Hench is hands down one of the best professors I've ever had. He is genuinely concerned with how well his students are comprehending the material and is more than willing to help you if you're unsure of something. His powerpoints are clear/easy to study and the assignments are all easy if you keep up with the text. Highly recommend this class!

Comment:

This class is geared toward non-science majors and is very interesting and also very easy. No textbook, so economical, too. There is plenty of work involved, but not an overwhelming amount. Dr. Hench is very clear in his expectations, so do the work, and follow his instructions and you'll get a good grade. Dr. Hench is excellent!

Comment:

Professor Hench can take a difficult subject like astronomy and make it interesting. He's an excellent professor and I'd recommend him to anyone who's going to tackle a difficult subject. Do your assignments, pay attention, and work hard and you will get an A. Prof. Hench is DA MAN!

One of the best teachers I've ever had, hands down. If you are thinking about getting into a physics class.. then GET INTO HIS. He's always willing to help and is sensitive to people's busy schedules. Plus, he's great in class.

Dr. Hench is a funny, interesting, and knowledgeable professor. Does a good job illustrating astronomical concepts via PowerPoint and physical models. Doesn't take attendance (skipped several weeks of classes and still got an A). Tests are given online, and questions come STRAIGHT FROM THE BOOK. Hench is a joy to have, I highly recommend him!

I enjoyed the class material but I did not like the pace of the class. It went very slow and by the midway of the class, I was already finished the activities for all of the chapters and was just waiting for him to post the exams. All exams are online but the book really helps with the exams. There are no labs or pop quizzes. An ok class.

I got a B in his class despite the fact that I was clueless. I didn't learn much. The Homework was helpful but the tests were impossible. The tests are only 2 questions and take over an hour. Labs were pointless.

AWESOME TEACHER! HE MADE THE CLASS FUN. TONS OF EXTRA CREDIT, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
