As an undergraduate biology major at ACU, I was required to take 4 of Dr. Lees classes. It is mandatory to attend and pay attention to his lectures, his exams come straight from them. Study and pay attention, and youll do well. I throughly enjoyed him as my professor and mentor. I wouldnt be successful today without him!

Lectures are not demanding, but the tests definitely are (Lee had described them as being "pale"). Students should be able to memorize the content of multiple powerpoint presentations and produce the information when asked. However, he isn't afraid to be specific about what the tests will look like, so feel free to ask as specifically as desired.

Claims that as long as you look over the power-points you will be find because all of his testing material comes from them. That is a lie because most of the time he will say stuff that is no where to be found on the power-point and it will end up on the test.

Comment:
Passionate professor who has a large amount of knowledge for the subject. Class is very clear-cut and requires significant effort, but is not unmanageable especially if one begins preparation early. An exam review is given prior to each test, and while this is usually very helpful, information not emphasized may still appear on the test.

Comment:
Dr. Lee's lecture power points are long and the definitions are wordy so for those who are non-biology majors that need a science credit that have him as a professor, I'd suggest asking for clarity on the notes or have a tutor help. Other than that, he is a very nice professor.

Easy class. Gives study guides that go along with his powerpoints. No busy work, but only grades are 4 tests so study hard. No attendance requirements.

Dr. Lee is a great guy but he doesn't give handouts and you don't get a textbook. Everything is on PP and if you don't know bio very good I recommend taking ENV SCI with Dr.Cooke (for a science requirement). Lots of studying required (although I did make an A). Your only grades are 4 tests.

Nice guy, but class was VERY HARD! Like all the other post say, you have to memorize everything on the handouts. Post powerpoints have 100+ slides and there are multiple PP to study. If you memorize you will do fine. HOURS AND HOURS of studying needed!

He is a nice guy and has some interesting stories about his own experience, but not a good teacher. If you don't have time to memorize every bit of his handouts then you won't do well on the tests, and asking him to explain something won't help because he just re-states exactly what is in his notes.

Dr. Lee is a really great guy! His class is hard if you can't memorize but a breeze if you know how to go about it. Hard to get to know but he's a really nice guy with a good heart and a hilarious wife! I highly recommend taking Dr. Lee's classes especially if you are a field biologist.

Enthusiastic about subject matter, but not a professor that will inspire others. Not well organised and can be quite cold in person. Unfortunately all bio majors must take his classes even though his interests are shared by only a small majority of the students.

There are 4 grades. If you memorize all handouts and regurgitate it on the tests the class is an easy A. If you can't memorize a lot of info at once don't take it.
