just show up to lecture and add on to his notes. he provides very detailed notes so if you skip class youll be good, but if you do go to class take notes on top of his because sometimes he says helpful stuff that he didnt write in his notes

this class was exhausting. tons of reading, nearly 20-30 pages of research papers for every class plus daily summary assignments. midterm was excruciatingly heavy, but an abundance of extra credit. overall, class was pretty chill and fun, but get ready to work

This class is tough, but doable if you can study well. There are some lectures, but mostly working with your group partners. There are a few lab styled tests and a group project at the end, which I didn't feel like we had enough time for. The class was fun though, and the professor is very knowledgable.

Get ready to read read and read , 5 labs , not all graded , midterm and fanal, should be more tests , to much material on both tests , doesn't give clear review , review secian is like 5-10 min which is basically study everything . Doesn't explain labs , youust figure it out by yourselves. Good luck if you decide to take him , you will need it .

Plummer is a good guy. Down to earth man. Knows his stuff. 3 MC exams and offers extra credit when he feels its needed. 1st test weighs less than the 2nd and 3rd tests. Provides all of the notes on Blackboard and a study guide for each test. I would have earned an A if I hadn't been lazy to study.

Its easy to doze off in large lecture classes, the class itself is quite boring but its clear to see he puts a lot of effort into his PowerPoints for class. Hes also super easy to talk to outside of class and is a very open and understanding professor. The kind of prof you dont wanna let down

His attendance is a sheet that you just check off. All of his notes are online, (sometimes he adds more that isn't online) only three tests and he gives review sheets. His class is a lecture straight from the powerpoint. Just copying notes the entire class. No homework ever.

The material learned was mostly boring but Plummer made it fun by including memes, gifs and videos to make the class laugh. The class is based on only 3 tests and they count a lot so study! Class notes were posted online and he provides a study guide.

You have to remember a lot of the information because its not useful information for an everyday life. Most of the information said is just posted online, so i stopped going to class. I would just show up for the review and the test because he wouldn't say anything different. Very interesting sometimes but boring cause its all about monkey.

If you love anthropology, particularly evolution, you will really enjoy this course. Prof. Plummer covers a lot of material, but as long as you take notes, and study for exams, you'll do well AND retain the information afterwards. Although he posts his notes on blackboard, I would recommend taking your own so you'll remember the material better.

Tom is actually my favorite person ever 3 He is really funny and has like a corny sense of humor but it's great. Also the class itself isnt that hard but hes a really good teacher. He puts all the notes online so you just print them out and review before the test. Grading wise its 90% from tests (3 tests each 30%) and the other 10% is from hw

lectures are packed with a fair amount of material. assignment from book every week. best part is that the textbook wasnt a real textbook it was like a normal book which made the assignments even easier. he is a very funny professor and he knows a lot about his material. would take more of his classes if i was an anthro major.

This class is extremely boring! I've struggled on many occasions to just stay awake. There are three exams that are pretty straight forward but you have to read your lecture notes if you want to do well. The hw is based on an book which is an easy book to read. If you're a self learner then this is a good class because you will doze off in class.

I only took this class to fulfill a requirement but I'm so glad I took it! Professor Plummer is really into what he teaches and it's so helpful. There are only 3 tests (all multiple choice) and they're pretty easy as long as you study for them. Don't bother buying the textbook, everything you need is in the notes.

Class had about 13000 students in it, frequently stopped to yell at kids that weren't making any noise at all. 3 tests, all of which are easy if you study your butt off (it's college, you should be doing this anyway). If your interested in finding out what orangutans looked like in the 1950s and nonsense like that, then this is the course for you.
