Comment:

You dont really learn anything its just her reading PowerPoint slides. Attendance is mandatory and dont be late she takes attendance early so even if you show up you still dont get the credit. Tests have nothing to do with the PowerPoint its like you have to love biology to pass. If you have the chance to not take her DONT worst decision!

Comment:

This is a basic biology class. I loved having Professor Zusman as a teacher. She is caring and honestly she made learning fun. I loved going to her class everyday to learn! This class requires the textbook. The lectures are on Powerpoint. You can pass this class only if you pay attention, ask questions, read from the book and Powerpoint, and study!

Comment:

As someone who has always been terrible in Science I am so glad I chose her. She explains things in a very understandable way. Really a great great teacher. I didn't have to kill myself studying and always passed all the tests and mini quizzes with As. Everything is super easy as long as you're willing to listen. She's also very sweet and funny.

She won't answer your email for at least a week. She has major attitude problems and does not even grade when she's supposed to. Save yourself the money.

Lectures an entire chapter in 2 classes & BAM, a quiz. No assignments or homework in between AT ALL. Then has the nerve to call her students out on why we're not passing when he have the slides & textbook to study but unfortunately, & this is just my opinion, I need work to learn things faster & I don't have enough time to study. Save your money!

Comment:

The SWEETEST teacher, you can tell she cares about her field and likes to teach. She does her best to make it as simple to understand especially for non-bio majors. She recommends getting the textbook but you could definitely get away with just studying the powerpoints she post to blackboard. She made my morning.

I was cheated into taking her because my scheduled professor was promoted with no warning (thanks MDC). The lectures and PowerPoint slides have nothing to do with the questions on the exams. She is also extremely rude. I quietly tried to ask her a question about the exam schedule and she condicended me in front of the entire class.

Save yourself the trouble and don't take her. Many of the material she lectures us about and what's on the textbook or power-point will probably be not on the test. You're better off teaching yourself the material if the teacher doesn't completely covers what's going to be on the test.

Class is basic biology. If you read the chapter you will understand and pass all tests. She lectures everything and actually makes it interesting. She gave a group project at the beginning of the semester (she chose the members). Grade is based on tests, quizzes, some homework, and the group project. She is sweet and loves when you participate.

She is so annoying and rude. Her lectures were very boring and she only talked about sex. She tried to be funny but she just ended up being rude. She gave quizzes all the time and her tests were more in depth than what she would cover in class.

DO NOT TAKE HER! The exams are nothing like the powerpoints youre better off using quizlet. She gives quizzes like twice a week, barely give you time to study for the exams and quizzes. The lecture is very BORING! but attendance is mandatory! shes quick to drop you if you miss like 2 or 3 days. her voice is very annoying too.

I took this class because of the good ratings, but I regret doing that now. Your grade will basically come from and tests but they are all quite confusing and designed to make you fail. She lectures very fast and is very passively rude at times. She also won't give you homework, even if you ask. You won't have to worry about a final or midterm.

Not a good professor, she honestly needs to retire. Would never recommend her to anyone. She takes non major classes to serious. Likes to talk down to students. She lectures for hours and gives you a study guide to prepare for the test but the guide has nothing to do with the test. 90 percent of test questions are ones that she randomly makes up.

The reviews had me kinda worried but she is a good prof. Tests are based off the powerpoints she lectures from, so if you study you'll pass. Really tries to push the students to do well, but she expects you to go to class, participate, and study.
