He's an old Russian man with a big accent and is very knowledgeable in his field. Due to this fact, he does not know how to teach at the students pace and expect everyone to understnd what hes doing. Youll see him constantly saying "oh this is very easy one." grade consists of 1 midterm: 30% 1 final: 40% and homework:30%. Hard class, work for grade

I am not one to fail classes, but this was the first class I failed ever in my life. I completed all the homework, which I received A's on, but the tests were just difficult for me. He was so boring and not engaging w students. Class consists: at least one hw assignment a week, one midterm, one final. Would not recommend.

Don't take him, his class is so confusing and you will fell asleep in his class. i got an A on the homework and D on the midterm which almost the entire class failed. For final exam i know i did pretty good on it and i still received a C+ on the final grade. I DONT RECOMMEND TO TAKE HIM AT ALL

Great teacher overall, sure he might go slow or be boring at times but he knows his stuff which makes it easy on the students to follow along. The Midterm and Final were open notes/textbook which can help you in the long run since those two make up 70% of your grade. Homework was easy and a guaranteed 30% toward your grade. Easy class for Calc I.

His an okay teacher. Doesn't really interact with students. He is very slow and teaching but you learn it. Boring class makes you want to fall asleep but you do learn in the class. I recommend him if your taking calc for the first time or already know it.

He was awful! He has zero interest in teaching the course. He does not wish to assist students. In class he will begin going over an example then tell the class they can figure it on their own. He has a generous grading scale, however, achieving one of the generous grades is impossible bc he grades so harshly.

Easy A if you go to class and understand his examples, In class examples are the same as Exams with diff. numbers. Exams are online and are not timed. Great if you have text anxiety gives you a change to youtube how to do certain problems. homework is online as well and hw problems are similar to exam, screen shots are great references. No book.

Hes not the worst math teacher, if you can at least follow along with his examples they are pretty much the exact problems you will see on his exams, easy A if you do the homework, he's not the best at TEACHING, but doing to HW in tutoring really helped me. The exams are straight forward 5 questions, and you have no set time limit.

Honestly, I'm not sure what to say. Most of the work is done online. 2 midterms, and HW. 1 in class final. And he doesn't take attendance after the first 2 weeks. He's kinda boring. His TA was a lot more help than you might think. I'm not sure how it happened, and I don't really care. I got an A in his course. I'm gonna recommend him on that alone.

After going to a few classes, you realize attending class is almost pointless. When he lectures, he is hard to understand and you don't learn much. I would not have passed this class if it wasn't online and didn't have my roommate to help. It was nice that all the homework, quizzes and tests were online. Used the textbook for practice problems.

I havent been to class in months and I'm still getting a B+. His lectures are boring, and math just doesnt make sense to me. I wouldnt use my notes for my homework so I stopped going. Midterms and homework are all online. Final is in class. I would not recommend his class if you aren't good at math. If you are, it will be a super easy class.

He's a pretty straightword prof. His classes are basically examples of problems on the homework, which is online, and the homework are similar problems on the quizes (also online) VERY STRAIGHTFORWARD. Easy A for me. Midterms, tests, and finals were all 5 problems each too for a heads up.

This class is really straight forward and simple. You don't even have to go to class. All the homework is online, even the tests and final are. It's really easy to get an A in the class. If you don't understand the course material then actually attend the class or read the book. The teacher goes through similar problems to the hw in class.

This teacher is really straightforward. He'll show you REALLY similar examples in class to those problems included in homeworks and tests (even finals). Pretty easy. All work is online. The only trick is appear in class and copy all the steps he does in class. He's really nice as well :) accent not so thick, you'll understand him really well.

I never went to class. Took AP Calc my sr yr of hs so this class was easy. taught myself out of the book. all the tests were online. he said the final would be in class but online. hes hard to understand because of his accent but hes nice and has dry humor. uses webassign. you have to buy the book cuz it comes with the webassign code for the class.

Definitely an easy class if math isn't difficult for you, all homework and tests are online. Class is difficult if you don't go to class but manageable. He does example problems that go with the homework and tends to make errors but he is very helpful in office hours. I would suggest this class!

the class is pretty easy if math already comes easily to you. if you are someone who asks for a lot of help from the teacher or needs a lot of explanation, i'd suggest a different teacher just because it can be hard to understand him, he has a very strong accent
