I am an alum and took two design studios with Vini when she was a professor. She was tough and made us work hard. We knew we produced good work in her class but its only now after many years, practicing, that I notice how much I learned from her.She loved design and teaching. She is down south someplace...they are lucky to have her.

She was the dean of architecture at Philadelphia University before going to Auburn and she is missed very much. She is anadvocate of the student and they are lucky to have her.

Dean Nathaan used to teach design studio and I heard that she was great. She does not teach anymore because she has moved to administration. Funny that the current profs are still using her methods and projects in the studios.

I took the residential studio with her and it was the best decision ever. She teaches so well and it really set the foundation for all my other studios. I will be graduating this semester but still refer to the notes from her class.

If you are having trouble with her, its because probably should not be in the design program in the first place. I found her to be the most helpful profs around; she definitely knows the material inside out and she puts a ton of effort into the class.
