Group projects, several difficult quizzes, harsh grader. He gave us the option of not taking the final, which was nice, but his tests were difficult. Anyone that says he was easy has to be a genius, and he is a 70 year old man, so the hotness is a joke.

Comment:

Anyone that said this class was easy must be a straight up genius. His pop quizzes are difficult and his tests require intensive knowledge of the textbook which he wrote. Group projects are also awful. This whole class is just a disaster, and it is even in my major. Also, anyone that rated him hot is trying to pull a prank.

While I'm sure this class was an easy A, he's restructured the class where it's definitely more difficult, but not impossible. This class is still interesting in that its not the typical upper level economics class, and Ender's definitely knows his information.

Excellent and really interesting class. Learned a ton about terrorism. The class is super easy- almost too easy. You'd prefer a class with interesting material to be among your harder ones. Good class, good prof, interesting material, super easy.

Comment:

Very nice guy, reasonable expectations, and his lectures are more like listening to a story than a usual boring lecture. Take his Political Economy of Terrorism class--especially if you're an Econ/Finance major and are looking for a change from the usual stuff. EC 444 isn't exactly a breeze, but an A is definitely feasible with reasonable effort.

ok...i took this class because everyone said it would be easy. NOT EASY. everything about this class is horrible. the teaching assistant grades too rigorously. "group projects" = terrible. tests = harder than expected (he had to add a pretty generous curve onto the first test because everyone struggled). i recommend taking something else.
